This is a real gem sat right next to the Tate Modern. Whilst we all really appreciate the Tate Modern and what it does and the artistic intent and drive. The Bankside Gallery is a totally refreshing "take on Art" and the way it has to be. It was opened in 1980 by the Queen and is a registered Charity. They regularly present exhibitions by members of the Royal Watercolour Society and the Royal Society of Painter - Printmakers. It is vital we support such places as the Bankside is actively engaged in the educational sector and helps along young people who need their guidance and help.
