Costa Coffee — Restaurant in London

It’s in the best interest of a business to keep their opening hours updated. Apparently they now close at 7pm instead of 9:30pm on weekdays – by chance I arrived at 7pm.

Two things could have been done to handle this situation better: not refuse responsibility for opening hours shown on Google maps and secondly still serve me at 7:01 as this was a very recent change in opening hours.

With the biggest respect to the Costa chain whose coffee i really like: Why do stuff members closing the coffee shop in this place earlier that working hours say.. It this the cinema, doesn't seem so crazy busy like in some central locations, so when you come ten minutes before closing time (yes it is not good) and not getting coffee when no customers around, really ruins the mood before...

My drink and toastie was lovely however they do have a fruit fly problem near and around the plant in the corner, felt like I was eating toastie with a side of fly. Was working on my laptop and eating when I found myself swatting multiple flies, started to feel a bit sick and uncomfortable and had to leave and go to Ikea to work instead. Don’t think I’ll go back...
