I recently visited Cotton Candy in London and honestly it is one of those spots that is as cute as it is tasty The place itself is a really pretty dessert parlour with a lovely white and pink colour theme and lots of flowers everywhere It has a soft cosy vibe but still feels fresh and fun Definitely the kind of place you want to take a few pics in before diving into the food

I ordered the Kinder Bueno White pancakes and they were genuinely delicious The pancakes were soft and fluffy with a fresh homemade feel They came with whipped cream and a very small scoop of ice cream and when I say small I mean a tiny teaspoon sized scoop I was a bit surprised by how little ice cream there was but to be fair I was not disappointed because the prices are actually quite reasonable and the dessert was still packed with flavour The white chocolate drizzle and Kinder bits added the perfect touch of sweetness and everything worked well together

For drinks I had the ocean blue mocktail which is £6.50 plus 50p for the Red Bull shot It is honestly one of the best mocktails I have had in terms of taste size and value The glass was a proper large size and the flavour was fruity and refreshing The Red Bull gave it a nice kick without being overpowering and overall it just felt worth the price

I also tried the lemonade soda mojito which was really good Light fizzy and full of fresh mint and lemon It was crisp and super easy to drink especially with the sweet treats on the side

One thing I did notice though is that it was quite warm inside It could really do with some air conditioning not just for the customers but more importantly for the staff who I imagine are working there all day in the heat A bit of cool air would make the whole experience even better

All in all Cotton Candy is a solid spot for desserts and drinks The atmosphere is really cute the prices are fair and everything tastes just as good as it looks I will definitely...

Went there for the second time yesterday thought il give it a try. First of all the place was pretty much empty and I’m usually in doubt when a place is empty. Secondly the main guy told us to take a seat we took a seat he said he will take our order. Went missing so hubby went to the till. The guy had no customer service was miserable as we walked in had kids with me didn’t even put on a friendly smile nothing. Ordered in till with his wife order a scoop for both kids. The scoop was tiny and they charged £2.15 EACH ridiculous. That’s not even the issue I wanted to order apple crumble they said it’s out of stock which can be understandable but they didn’t even bother to offer an alternative nothing whatsoever. I said I won’t order anything and we sat with two scoops for the kids. It was ridiculous. They just didn’t even seem bothered. I wouldn’t go there if you want good service they pretty much ignore you. Why pay somehwere where they give you zero efforts. No signs nothing about what they have left or what’s gone. Definitely wouldn’t go there again and will make sure I let my...

Really disappointing service and food. We were the only customers in the entire restaurant and still service was nonexistent. We had to wait over an hour for three drinks to arrive and staff only started cooking the food when we complained (30-40 minutes after arrival).

I ordered some pancakes and they only started preparing them 1hr after we had ordered them. Full English (sunny side up) was completely unseasoned and bland. Masala beans on another order were exactly the same as baked beans, just in a different bowl.

Mango smoothie was full of shards of ice and could not be drunk through a straw.

If the kitchen was busy and people were struggling it would perhaps be more understandable, but zero effort was made to even prepare the food, with people just sitting around doing nothing. The poor quality of food and waiting time for this is really not acceptable. To make this worse, another two people arrived 40 minutes into our booking and received their drinks 5 minutes later. There were two members of staff and one was just sat around on their clipboard throughout the...

I noticed this spot whilst wandering around looking for the dry cleaning spot next door. Stopped here right afterwards, and it was excellent. The owner, Shah, is extremely friendly and makes great conversation. As a bonus, the menu is vast and everything is delicious, served fresh and with care. Swing by if you’re near Canary Wharf - even if just for a quick coffee.
