The whole experience was underwhelming and dissapointing. The ceasar salad was fine although chicken was hard and chewy. I ordered a vegetarian pizza with courgettes, peppers and aubergine, what a joke seriously. The description should say 1 slice of pepper cut into small pieces, 1 slice of aubergine sliced so thinly that you can barely taste it and 1 piece of a whole courgette that has been sliced again and again to make it really go a long way LOL!! I'll attach a photo so you can see what I mean. There was not much mozarella or vegetables and at £26, the blandest most expensive pizza ever. I complained to the manager, he said this is the standard and couldn't change the pizza in any way, this is how they come he said. I looked at him in disbelief, never encountering this kind of attitude in my life. We also asked him if we could see the pizza being thrown as per the restaurant usp and he said its busy and this doesn't happen all day, the pizza guys get tired. But we kept insisting and asked really politely and then he changed his mind which was good of him but why not just say yes I'll try rather then being a little rude from the beginning. What a bizzare way to speak to customers. He did give us a free dessert as we were both not happy with our pizzas and experience but that also tasted quite bad and we left it. I did NOT like this place. The service was not up to scratch, the new waitress was lovely, the rest fake and condescending. All the manager needed to do was add a few vegetables and mozarella which would have made our pizzas better and to our liking but he refused and instead gave us a free dessert he gives to people on their birthdays which was basically cream on some terribly soggy biscuits. £98 for two cheeseless and toppingless pizzas, a caesar salad and a bottle of water. Totally was not worth the experience we had. What a waste of time and money. In the end the manager asked 'are you happy' I explained that the pizza was disappointing and I said I won't be back and he didn't even apologise, he ushered us out the door.

Ate here with a big group of friends. For drinks I asked for tap water and my partner asked for Prosecco. They came to bring all the drinks for the whole table but they forgot my tap water and his Prosecco. He then had to tell the waiter that he forgot his drink and the waiter came back to bring his drink finally. For the food, I ordered beef carpaccio and spaghetti al pomodoro. Beef carpaccio was below average. Not tasty at all and super over priced. When I was being served my main, I received penne al arrabbiata instead. I complained and asked them to give me my spaghetti al pomodoro. The waiter took my plate and brought it back. After 2 minutes, he came back again with my plate and telling me that the spaghetti al pomodoro would take 15-20 minutes and my whole group was already eating so I said never mind I dont want it anymore. I continued eating the arrabiata which was really spicy and also tasted like something from a canteen or just a low standard Italian place. I also saw another guy from another table with the same dish. He only ate the pasta half way and then called the waiter to complain and give it back. After 20 minutes while we were still eating, a different waiter came out with the spaghetti al pomodoro for me when I told them that I didn’t want it anymore at the start! He then just went back and brought it back to the kitchen. When we were all done eating, the fries we ordered as a starter / side came after we were done with our mains. When the bill came, we paid £50 each which was so overpriced for a pizza / pasta + drink. Also really bad service so it was really not worth it. The waiter was taking payments from everyone and forgot me at the end and we even had to remind him that I didn’t pay yet. Service is terrible and food is below average.

So I visited on 24/06/23 with 2 of my friends, celebrating a friends 30th birthday. I had added a note to my reservation to state that we are coming to celebrate a birthday, so if there was anything that they could do to make it special. So we arrived and ordered 3 pizzas; Tartufo, focaccia con stracchino and a margherita. Margherita and tartufo were great. We just weren’t keen on the third. Once we realised we didn’t like the third one, we wanted to order another pizza. I flagged down an employee and asked if I could order. She said she would call somebody. After waiting around for someone to come to take my order, I became fed up and decided I would just leave it. We waited 15 minutes to ask someone for a dessert menu (probably because the music was so loud because no one could hear us when they would walk past). We eventually got a menu, but no one came back to ask what we would like. So I had to get up and go to a waiter at the till to place my order. We ordered tiramisu. I also requested that it was my friends birthday, so if we could have some candles. We saw the tiramisu was ready and waiting on the counter. It was there for 20 minutes until someone brought it over to us. At this point I was already annoyed that the service was so slow. Then after we were done, I asked a waitress for the bill. 5 minutes went by and she didn’t bring it. I flagged down another waiter and asked for the bill. He brought it over and then walked away again. I asked that the service charge be taken off, as I was completely dissatisfied with the service. A few minutes later the manager came over and put down the new bill, and asked what was wrong with the service. I proceeded to let him know the delay in service, being ignored many times and the rest of my issues. And all he did was give a slight nod and walked away. He could have easily apologised for the experience or acknowledge my issues, but we thought it was very rude of him to then just walk away without addressing the issues that i mentioned. Also, we visited on a Saturday evening between 7:30pm and 9:15pm, I expected for a pizza show to have taken place, however there wasn’t one. I have wanted to visit this restaurant for a while, and a birthday was the perfect excuse. However I left feeling extremely underwhelmed, and it’s safe to say that I will not be returning and definitely not recommending...

On the 1st of July, around 15:30pm, I unfortunately met one of the rudest staff members I have ever encountered. I emailed the manager on the day this happened but it’s been over a month without a reply! Clearly they don’t care.

This individual decided to yell, disrespect then touch me in this restaurant.

My friend and I came to see the spinning pizza - the highlight of this restaurant and we were unfortunately placed in the corner. Once we had finished our meal we made our way to the back near the oven to ask if we could watch.

Whilst we were asking if we can watch the spinning pizza, a female staff member stated we could not stand in the way and I told her we were with her colleague and this female staff member left. Then 5 seconds later a rude male staff member came and told me to move because I was in his way and he can’t work like this. I told him that as I just told his colleague seconds before that we are with somebody else asking a question. He proceeded to argue and disrespect me making me feel scared and uncomfortable due to his aggressive body language and his very loud tone of voice. He then proceeded to ask my friend and I to leave the restaurant as we were in his way. This was an unbelievably embarrassing situation. Multiple customers stopped eating to watch this man yell and berate me. I have never been so embarrassed like this before.

The situation quickly escalated because he was impolite and refused to listen when I tried to explain we were with one of his colleagues.

Whilst on my way out I spoke to the gentleman that served our table this afternoon who apologised for his male colleagues behaviour and the same rude man followed me and then proceeded to continue to shout at me and then tried to move me with his hands and stated that I leave his restaurant. I then in response told him not to touch me.

This should of never of happened. If I was in the way I could of kindly been asked if there was anything I needed help with or told to politely move to the side. I do not appreciate anyone placing there hands on me.

Kindness and politeness are qualities that everyone should possess and can go a long way.

If the manager of this restaurant could reply to my email from over a month ago, that would be great :) I have a picture of this individual if anyone...

TLDR; no spinning pizza show in almost 2 hours, which is the headlining feature, is a dealbreaker.

3 stars is perhaps generous There are some problems here

Starting with the good: they got the pizza right, we had 3 different pizzas in our group and they were all very good, they came very quickly. They have a lot of choice and I suspect they are all good. The desserts were decent too, the tiramisu is good; the ice creams simple and okay.

The main problem is the spinning pizza, or lack thereof. This place is advertised as the ‘home of spinning pizza’ and their logo and pictures of it are everywhere. We really expected the show, I had called to book the best time for it, and when we arrived I asked and they said it was running. After 1 hour 45 minutes…nothing. Given this is the main selling feature of this place to set apart (and the main reason we came here) the total lack of this, is a major let down and an absolute dealbreaker in my opinion (it also feels like very false advertising). As this is a headlining feature (which is what sets it apart from other places) I feel this needs to be leaned on and should either have specific times that are advertised, or be run every 30-45 mins or so at least during the busy periods.

The service - the staff were nice, but after the pizza, very slow service (though I will say this did not personally bother me too much) as it took a long time to clear the table, and bring dessert menu (and only after being prompted). Also the salad we ordered didn’t come until after we had entirely finished our food, at which point we cancelled it as it was too late (they did apologise for this)

Other good parts - they had a DJ playing, they gave a complimentary mini tiramisu for birthday (which these days I do appreciate - but I would not come here expecting it).

Price - about £50 per person for pizza, dessert and a drink (the mocktails are quite expensive and not amazing), which is to be expected for the area.

I personally would not go back, unless it was absolutely GUARANTEED to have the show.

I this opinion helps any potential...
