Creams Cafe Old Street — Restaurant in London

I’ve visited this establishment multiple times and generally have had positive experiences, except when interacting with one particular staff member who works during the evenings.

On several occasions, I’ve noticed that she’s often on her phone and doesn’t acknowledge customers when they arrive. During my most recent visit, there was an issue regarding hygiene practices. When my sister politely asked her to wear gloves while preparing her crepe, the staff member declined, stating that she had already washed her hands and my sister replied that she hadn’t see this happen. This led to a brief exchange, and when I calmly asked her to please wear the gloves, she responded by accusing me of having an attitude (I believe this was a micro aggression as I did not once raise my voice at her) . Despite my repeated requests for her to simply complete our order, she continued to argue and appeared to handle our food carelessly, resulting in a burnt crepe (photos attached) and my thick milkshake being the consistency of juice genuinely.

Additionally, when I asked for a cup holder for my drinks, I had to repeat my request multiple times before she acknowledged it. I also requested her name for reference, but she ignored me.

I genuinely enjoy coming to this location, but this repeated negative experience with one staff member is disappointing. I hope management can address this to improve...

I visited creams yesterday on old street with my 11 year old daughter to get her a milkshake etc, my daughter was scared to go on her own again because of how rude and unwelcoming the Caucasian Lady is everytime she goes there. My daughter informed me that she does not wash her hands or wear gloves, when my daughter asked her to wash her hands before making her crepe "she ignored me and acted like I wasn't even there mum".

My daughter was absolutely correct about everything, when we walked in she was on her phone, she finished what she was doing on the phone, she then walked over to the till without saying a word to us, i placed the order, I ordered 4 things, when she started making our crepe, I asked her why she isn't wearing gloves, because she is touching the crepe, she said "because we don't have to" i said okay so what happened to washing your hands before you start making the crepe, she said I did wash my hands, I asked her when and then told her what I observed when I walk in, so she did not wash her hands, she then said "sorry I forgot"

Having really bad experience here because of the terrible service. They held a giveaway earlier, you just need to register online and you will get a free ice-cream today 1-3 pm. I came here at around 2 pm and saw two other customers waiting outside the store. The store was dark and the door was locked, a lady wearing earphones inside the store and preparing maybe? She saw us but didn't explain what happened, no notices on door so we have no idea if we should keep waiting or not. The two customers said they had been waiting for almost 10 minutes and it was just time wasting. We tried to knocked the door to draw the her attention. She didn't come to explain or even look at us, just shaking the head and keep on her business. Then the two customers left very angry. This is the worst customer service I had ever experience. This is really unacceptable and I am not spending any pennies on this store or...
