CREM Kitchen — Restaurant in London

First time coming back here since its been taken over by new management and I wouldn't come again. When we arrived, we weren't even taken to our table; the lady just pointed the table out to us. We arrived with two babies and nobody even bothered to ask if we wanted high chairs. We even stood for a while, but no assistance was offered. It was early Saturday evening and the restaurant was mostly empty, so they don't have any excuses. There were about 3 female members of staff standing around doing nothing and they could clearly see us. I then went over and took some high chairs that were stacked in the corner. I was shocked at how filthy each one was. They clearly hadn't been cleaned for a long time as some stains were very hard to remove. I had to get some wipes out to clean them. Again, it was clearly visible to various members of staff that I was cleaning them myself, but no assistance was offered. The table we were seated at was peeling at the sides in various places. The chairs themselves were very dirty and again, we had to clean them ourselves. The food was good, but not spectacular. Certainly, I wouldn't want to come again just for the food. The bao buns were too large with very little filling, but the filling was nice - just not the right proportion. The charcoal wings were good, but not wow. We had several other dishes too, but all were good, without being memorable. The choice of dishes for mains were surprisingly very small. The cocktail I had was really drab that I didn't even order another drink even though I was thirsty. Sorry, but there are far superior restaurants with incredible food and superior hospitality compared to crem kitchen. I wouldn't waste your money...

Crem Kitchen Today we enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Crem Kitchen. This restaurant is at the entrance to Raphael’s Park and overlooks the lake. It is a great place for a coffee , a drink , a quick lunch and also Private Events. When we arrived we received a delightful welcome from the team before being seated at our table. Once settled it was nice of owner Megha to come over for nice chat. The restaurant had recently undergone a refurbishment and I have to say it did look much more stylish. We then ordered a drink while we looked at the menu which has a very good variety of cuisine from Korean , Chinese , Indian , fish , steaks , burgers , dessert and a Roast on Sundays. We started by ordering a few dishes from the Small Plates including Korean Chicken Wings which were delicious , the heavenly Keema Bao Buns and the Sichuan Spicy Pork Dumplings. For our main courses we went for the Pork Belly Sunday Roast and the New Lamb Chops with garlic mash , broccoli and chimichurri which was an absolute delight. I then enjoyed the Salted Caramel and Chocolate Brownie that was sweet and chocolate heaven as was the vanilla ice cream. We finished with a coffee to bring our lunch to an end. I would definitely recommend a visit to Crem Kitchen because for one the food is great , the staff are very friendly and it’s a great place for couples , families and private parties. They also have a lovely terrace so when the sun does come out you can enjoy outside dining overlooking the lake. We had our wedding reception at Crem Kitchen and there are not enough words to describe how wonderful our day was. Megha and her team made our day so perfect. We had an intimate dinner of 30 people where every single guest commented on how delicious the food was, Megha made sure everyone was very well fed, even bringing out extra starters for us! We hired the whole venue so after dinner we could have a dance in the evening with more family and friends, we had 80 guests altogether in the evening and hired a DJ. We also had food for our evening guests which went down such a treat, along with the most delicious homemade tarts. Megha and her team went above and beyond to make sure no request was too big. The restaurant was decorated so beautifully by Megha and her team, all with their own decor. Megha took away all our stresses and we had so much trust in her that she would make it look perfect and it really did. Thank you for accommodating us so well, from all our meet ups and our emails beforehand to making sure our day/night went so smoothly, even helping us to decorate our wedding cake the day before! Thank you for our welcome sign, that was such a lovely touch and for allowing us to take over your Spotify for dinner! Crem Kitchen will forever be our special place thanks to you all. We cannot recommend Crem Kitchen enough, not only as an incredible restaurant with the most delicious food but also as a venue for any occasion.
