Been going there for so many years, after moving away and not being there for about 6 months, I made a visit today only to be turned away as they have recently raised their prices by £1 (also there are no signs of this price change), and I didn’t have the extra £1 on me. They don’t take card payments so they wouldn’t let me use card either. After telling them I didn’t have the extra £1 on me, they simply turnt to the next customer and called the next customer over to my chair. Appalling customer service! They have chosen to turn down a paying customer for £1, even though I have been going there for many years and would probably have continued even though I have moved away, I will never return again.

• Following on from the owner’s response, I would just like to say I feel that you are the missing the point of my complaint and your comments are irrelevant. I’m not saying your prices are not cheap, I am simply saying I came unprepared and your lack of signs of this change made me unaware of your price change. Four of us came in for a quick dinner, and as I am a sucker for Vietnamese food, I suggested here. I was very pleased that I did as the food was outstanding, and very reasonably priced!

I had the crunchy chicken, but also tasted a bit of my friend's pho. The staff asked how spicy we like it, and the medium option was very pleasant and had a warming kick to it.

The chicken was brilliantly crispy and full of flavour, and the rice was perfectly done and easy to pick up with chopsticks, even the vegetables on the side were tasty!

Mostly a takeout place as there are just a few stainless steel tables and chairs to sit on, not the most comfortable, but the food makes up for that.

The price was very reasonable, the meal costing just £8.00! Definitely somewhere I will be returning too if I'm ever back...

My wife and I stumbled upon this lovely place after finding out the place we were headed was full, so thank goodness for that otherwise we may not have come here! We walked in and were greeted by a wonderfully smiley gentleman who was happy to answer any and all questions. The place itself has a very minimalist style, everything is white and looks very clean and hygienic. We waited all of 3 minutes for our food. We can’t recommend the crunchy tofu rice box enough.
