Worst Bubble Tea Shop in London – Terrible Quality and Service! This is by far the worst bubble tea shop I’ve been to in London! The quality of their drinks and their service are both appalling. First, this is not real bubble tea at all. The so-called ā€œmilkā€ they use is not fresh milk—it’s made with cheap, artificial creamer, which is extremely unhealthy. This is just a low-quality, artificial mix, not proper milk tea. Second, this shop doesn’t even know how to make bubble tea. I specifically requested no ice when ordering, yet I saw the staff add ice, stir the drink, then remove the ice before handing it to me—while still claiming there was no ice. I watched them do this right in front of me! This level of dishonesty is completely unacceptable. I need to clarify this again. When I placed my order, I specifically requested no ice, yet the staff added ice right in front of me, then removed it and handed me a drink that was clearly iced. When I pointed this out in shock, they lied to my face, insisting it had no ice. I was stunned and said, ā€œBut this is cold! How could it be no ice?ā€ The staff then told me, ā€œIf you wanted it hot, you should have ordered it that way.ā€ Not wanting ice does NOT mean I wanted a hot drink! Their attitude truly shocked me. After insisting strongly, they finally replaced my drink. But unfortunately, the taste was terrible. I should have checked the reviews beforehand—other customers had already warned about the poor service and bad quality. In the end, my friend and I each got a drink, and both of us took just two sips before throwing them away. As people who have been drinking bubble tea for over 20 years, we can confidently say that this store’s milk tea (not sure about other products) was undrinkable—unhealthy and with an awful taste.

UPDATE 3: if you're looking for a good milk tea, this is unfortunately not the place as they make the tea with powdered milk and not fresh milk making it taste dull imo. The green & black teas are really good though. šŸ§‹ Very happy to have a bubble tea place near me ~ Every time I've ever ordered here the tea tasted authentic, freshly made and delicious Planning on going here regularly and trying out different types of teas, so far they've all tasted exquisite 🄰 The dĆ©cor of the place is also very fancy and I like watching the tea being made. The staff are very polite and also handsome šŸ‘ 10/10 would recommend, very luxurious tea šŸ’™ UPDATE: Unfortunately the lady working there doesn't provide a positive customer service, it feels like she's bored working there and seems annoyed that she has to stop browsing her phone and get up to serve a customer, I gave her a chance but it's been 3 times already that I've had this negative experience with her. UPDATE 2: In recent times as of May 2023, everytime I go the customer service has been superb and everyone's really kind, and the tea tastes fabulous!

I’ve been craving bubble tea all week and thankfully, finally, at long last, I found myself in Ding Tea New Cross. I ordered a brown sugar milk tea and was not disappointed, it was super sweet and milky, exactly how I like it. They were also playing old Twenty One Pilots when I came in, so I decided to take my headphones off so as to properly enjoy it, as 15 year old Colin would have wanted. There’s a small step to get in - about the size of my handspan - I’ve attached some photos to give you a better idea. The straw they gave me does appear to be plastic, which I know is frowned upon but at least guaranteed it wouldn’t go soggy. I’m gonna wash it out and use it again though.
