The store itself is lovely, and the produce is genuinely top-notch no complaints there. Unfortunately, the customer service experience was a little less… ripe.

While sitting outside at one of the many empty tables (emphasis on many), patiently waiting for my partner to return from shopping inside, I was approached by what I can only assume was the manager an older, greying gentleman with an apparent sixth sense for spotting trouble. He politely informed me that the seating was for customers only and that I’d need to vacate.

Naturally, I complied (because who doesn’t enjoy being publicly shooed from an empty chair?), though I couldn’t help but wonder what exactly about me posed such a threat. Perhaps my limp was alarming other patrons, or maybe my outfit didn’t meet the seating dress code that nobody mentioned. Either way, it was a curious interpretation of hospitality.

Outstanding food, excellent produce, but a side order of unnecessary rudeness does leave a...

Wonderful organic deli and restaurant. I went here today for lunch with my daughter. I had hake which was beautifully cooked and my daughter had a burger which she said was delicious. We had a lovely long lunch with dessert and coffee to finish. All very delightful. The atmoshere is very relaxing and inviting, and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning and would recommend to others. The printed menus have all the dietry information on them, making ordering easy if you have any allergies or intolerances. If you order from the specials blackboard just make sure the server understands that you have a specific dietry requirement and be clear about it when you order. All in all a lovely chilled out lunch with fabulous food and drink and cheerful service with a smile. Had a nice potter round the deli and homeware depts both before and after our lunch which was also a very...

I love everything I have bought from daylesford except the lamb Massaman and basmati rice. The lamb curry is too mushy and not very nice . It has too much mashed potato or chick pea or something like it in the sauce that makes it too mushy. Hardly any meat. I didn’t enjoy this. For £12.00 I expected bigger chunks of meat and not soft small mushy pieces. A big rip off for the price. Disappointing. Threw it out

30/10/2023 Don’t buy their scones! I bought 4 scones from daylesford and how disappointing. Dayleford like the The Ivy are selling scones that are not proper traditional scones which are crumbly and have the butter rubbed in as it should be. Daylesford scones consistency is like a cake not crumbly. The BEST ONLY PROPER traditional butter rubbed into the flour SCONES are sold by OTTOLENGHI ! which are highly recommended. It’s a shame Daylesford quality...

That’s How We FeastThat’s How We Feast
Our visit to Daylesford Organic was driven by one mission: to find the ultimate chocolate spread. After sampling various options, we can confidently say that Daylesford Organic offers the best we’ve ever tasted! The richness and quality of their chocolate spread are unmatched, leaving us no choice but to stock up for ourselves and our lucky friends back home. It’s worth noting that Daylesford Organic delivers within the UK only, which may limit its accessibility for international visitors. However, if you’re in London and have a sweet tooth craving, this place is an absolute must-visit. Don’t miss out on their exceptional chocolate spread—it’s a game-changer! (edited July 2024)

I always use the other branch which has a better atmosphere and more friendly staff , this branch has a grouchy chef who will not change any for a simple request which I am used to ask for in the other branch , I only requested sear fried for my sea bass instead of deep fried and the chef rejected to do any change , so strange , normally who can do deep fried fish can simply do it sear fried . So frustrating for such a good reputed restaurant . I hope the management looks into the issue seriously and direct the staff to be flexible than rigid with customers

Way overpriced - one organic orange : one pound and tastes ordinary. Three bananas came to two pounds. Two carrots, yours for 1 pound 50. The location is Chelsea , but I can buy organic items nearby at the well-known supermarkets for far less. I compared prices and found that organic oranges at a supermarket in Chelsea can be had for half the price charged here i.e double at DO, although of course they were not the same exact brand. I won't be back and like other reviewers, I felt taken advantage of.
