After long busy travel day, we found these restaurant near our hotel. walked in we received a warm welcome greeting. We ordered 3 starters (Summer rolls, Spicy Spare Ribs and Spicy Chicken wings) 4 Mains ( 2 x Pho, a bun dish and a Pork chop rice dish) as I from far Easter also know how to cook good Asian foods so that make me very fussy when comes to Asian foods. But wow these starters were testy, Pho's noddle and broth were so light and full of the flavours, Bun dish was blew my mind off that was outstanding!! (go back tomorrow to have that for lunch, lol), My daughter normally doesn't eat much, but she finished half of pork chop dish and that says all!! Everyone loves my flower bulb tea. Look no more... if you live in South London you'll know is hard to find a good Vietnamese place. District 1 just off Putney high street offers a nice range of delicious Vietnamese food. The broth was absolutely gorgeous and the summer rolls to die for, the attention was great too. We would had loved it more if the pho was served with the herbs on the side, but we know there's different ways to enjoy this lovely dish... they were not shy on the sauces either and you can have as much as you like with the big bottles on each table. Read moreDistrict 1? More like District none. Went there tonight, it was totally empty i.e. no seated customers apart from us. A few delivery drivers went through. After being given a table, we were sat there waiting patiently for at least 15 minutes. No-one was on the restaurant floor...we even stood up and tried to call someone. No response. We ended up walking out which we've never had to do before....It was empty. On a Friday night. Speaks for itself. Ghost town. Recommend taking your business to people who have basic customer service. Viet Town in Wandsworth at least...
