I went to sushi co excited to try some of their food as they are the newest sushi spot in Putney.

I ordered: Crunchy Spicy Salmon Sushi 2x Sweet Chilli Chicken 2x Rice

The first thing that shocked me was the fact that the sweet chilli chicken did not come with rice. It’s described as a hot meal on the menu but all it is, is a bowl of chicken pieces and some veggies mixed in (we ordered rice on the side)x The chicken katsu curry comes with rice and is £3 cheaper. The sweet spicy chicken actually made my partner and I feel uneasy. We did not get food poisoning but after a few bites we both felt nauseous.

The spicy salmon sushi was nice however the salmon was cooked. I’ve never had it with cooked salmon in it. It’s not bad but I prefer the normal way that it’s made.

Overall I wasn’t pleased with the meal and I think it could have been better.

The meal came to just under £25 but I don’t feel it was...

This was my first experience of Sushi after years of trying to be convinced to try Japanese food by my wife, finally I gave in and wow this was an experience I will never forget and share. I’ve always hesitated on fish and sea food to be fried or steamed, but my visit here changed and I won’t look back. With such an extensive menu it was exciting but was saved and served by the staff explaining the menu. Thank guys. You made my half term a special experience ( yes it’s half term in Leicester). The miso soup was perfect for the rainy evening in Putney. I fancied on tantalising my taste buds on some safe options at first with the sweet chilli chicken. Crispy veg sweet, tangy and rich in sauce and flavour. Then came the black pepper chicken with egg stir fried noodles. This was aromatic and not greasy. Totally awesome. Then my daring sushi mix the Maki 3. Wow. I shall see...

I have just walked in for the first time because I have never been in the place and a girl in the register I believe she is East asian with an Bangladesh or Indian accent just treated so bad I didn't even ask nothing she just went say " sir we are busy there is no rice and we have lots of deliveries" she just turned around and left me there without me even have asked something, I was going to get a drink since she said that buy she turned around didn't give me the chance. That was so rude I will never visit that place again. Then when I walked out she turned the lights off like to avoid people coming in. What a bad impression...

On a quest to keep trying all the bao buns in this city, I found this place near where we live. They are a chain so there's a bunch around London. I tried the Teriyaki one and the Spicy chicken one. They were both pretty good, the Teriyaki sauce was really nice and the chicken was juicy on both. The buns are a bit rubber like but still quite decent. The Spicy one is indeed spicy but nothing you can't tolerate. They are 7,99£ each but they had a deal where you could get 2x£10 or something along those lines. They are a decent, quick option for grabbing bao buns on the go. People were very accommodating too.

I ordered the peppered chicken and a prawn bao bun. Took a while for the food to be served but as the restaurant was getting more full after I arrived, I guessed the kitchen was busy. On eating my meal (which tasted great) I noticed a piece of possibly metal in my rice (see photo). Luckily I hadn't put it in my mouth. I'd decided to finish and gave the additional ingredient debris to the person that served me and just be careful to other customer's foods. He told the chef and I promptly left. Shame as I enjoyed what I had eaten until I found the additional metal piece.

Attended for first time and ordered black pepper chicken with noodle. This was £11.49. Not sure why I was charged this considering their bill board says £9.50 and their printed menu says £10.50. Seems they add £1 extra if you choose noodle over rice. I don't understand why they don't tell you this. Was just told to pick between rice and noodle. Also, a portion is about half the size of a kokoro portion. Came in a small bowl and was only filled about 3/4 way. However, what I ate seeme nice and chicken was in a light batter.
