Iāve been to this place many other times, and the experience was okay, service was fine and the food is always nice. But Iāve noticed a change in the last visits Iāve had, and today was just too much, so I decided to write a review, and of course Iāll go back when Iām not in a rush to talk to the manager.
Today there were two girls working, one wearing glasses, who was very nice and polite to me, and the other one who took my order and served me. She was unpolite, not even said hello, just staring at me with a bored face, like she didnāt even want to be there. When I told her what I wanted she was just making it with disgusted gestures, and the rice was stuck because there was no much left, and when I asked her if they may have some new coming, she said this is the one they have, so either I want it or not??? On a very rude attitude⦠I let it go because I saw her reaction and I didnāt want to create a scene⦠as I had two burritos, when I saw the portions of meet were different (one of them had visibly much less) , I asked her if she could put a bit more in that one, as it was beef so i was even paying extra for it⦠and she said to me āyou want extra?ā Making obvious that I had to pay more of course⦠I promise is not about the money, Iām not gonna argue for Ā£1 extra⦠but the ATTITUDE⦠afterwards she kept just being rude, no please when she gave me de bill, no thank you when she charged me⦠unbelievably rudeā¦
There are lots of nice places closing down in the high street and I run one of the restaurants there, so it makes me sad when business near me close⦠because I know they have passion for what they do and they see themselves in a position to have to close for many factors⦠but then we have places like Tortilla, which is still open and working, and some people working there who donāt want to wake up in the morning to make their customers smile, are making this place go down in sales just because theyāre not Happy⦠if youāre not happy just quit! There are lots of people whoād love to work with a smile! I hope they come back to be what they were, but for that⦠the manager should āeducateā this kind of workersā¦. Or fire them and find more PASSIONATE people!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI decided to give Tortilla, one of the more popular Mexican fast-casual franchises in the UK, a try. As someone who enjoys flavorful and convenient meals, I was eager to see Tortilla live up to its reputation.
From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the speed at which they prepared my food. In no time, I had a fresh burrito in my hands, and it was clear that efficiency is one of their strong suits.
The food itself was absolutely delicious. My burrito was generously stuffed with tender, well-seasoned chicken, fresh vegetables, and a variety of salsas that added the perfect amount of zest. Every bite was a delightful mix of textures and flavors. I also tried their tacos, which were equally impressive, with soft, warm tortillas enveloping flavorful fillings. The menu had something for everyone, catering to both vegetarians and meat lovers alike.
I decided to try their frozen Margarita, hoping for a refreshing complement to my meal. Unfortunately, it turned out to be too salty, which overshadowed the otherwise pleasant blend of flavors. If you're planning a visit, I would recommend skipping the frozen Margarita and opting for one of their other drink options instead.
Overall, my visit to Tortilla was a hit. The quick, tasty, and satisfying dining experience makes it well worth a visit. Just be mindful of your drink selection to ensure your meal is perfect from...
Read moreVisited on Friday to grab £3 burritos (part of the £3 burrito Fridays promo advertised on Instagram). The two women ahead of me had no problem ordering 4 burritos together (3 wraps and a bowl with extras) and were served by a lovely young lady. Another member of staff began to take my order. It began smoothly when I asked for two medium burritos and one medium bowl but when I asked for seasonal veg on all of them, I was told it would be £1 extra for each burrito. That was fine and I declined even though I had previously read the terms and conditions which stated that extras were free. Similar thing happened when I asked for guacamole on all and chorizo on one. I asked the young lady if extras were free and she told me they were, however the guy serving me butted in and said they weren't. I showed him the terms and conditions which he read and understood. When it came to paying, he told me that the offer only applied to burritos and not naked burritos. I pulled out the terms and conditions again to show him that it wasn't true. The guy disagreed with everything I said until I showed him the Ts & Cs. Although the burritos were great as usual, grabbing the offer was a huge hassle and caused an unnecessary amount of stress from poor...
