Donburi has become a little local favourite spot for our family. The staff are extremely friendly, and the food is consistently good. The ingredients are high quality, and the dishes are well-made and well-prepared, we are always satisfied. One small suggestion would be to increase the amount of rice in the bibimbap and donburi dishes. Excellent food and service!!! It’s such a privilege to have a place like this around the corner in South Croydon. The food is absolutely delicious, tasty and healthy. The delivery is always so well packed and fresh and looking like the chef just brought it to our table. I have been getting takeout from Donburi for the past 3 years and I swear that each time I’ve ordered the bowls and portion sizes have shrunk. What they now also do is stuff the bowl half-full with shredded lettuce and then give you a spoonful of rice and another spoonful of meat - a starter portion at a cost of £12. What a ripoff!
