July 2023- Another birthday to celebrate and another visit to west London, and what better way to celebrate than to take the opportunity to return to The Italian Break for an excellent Campari Spritz in this cheerful, if unassuming, café, prepared skillfully and with heart by the friendliest server/host in the area. I urge you to visit, it“s a place full of love, passion and sun. Thanks a million, love Catherine and Andy (a year older but just as impressed by your café).
July 2022 Came across this fabulous cafe/bar by chance whilst walking down King Street and I“m delighted I did, the perfect place to enjoy a pre lunch birthday aperitif, excellent Campari Spritz at an amazing good price prepared by the friendliest most welcoming waiter in London! Coming from North London I“m not often in Hammersmith but both my husband and I are anxious to return not only for the ace camparis but to try the paninis that looked ace, and the coffee obviously, this spot full of Neapolitan hospitality makes a return visit a must. Grazie mille, anche più di un milione di...

Had an hour to kill while car in garage. Turned right instead of left looking for coffee and and found this cafe.
Real unprepossessing at first sight but don't worry. The welcome from who I assume is the Italian owner was wonderful.
Nothing glamorous or high tech but he makes a class cappuccino.
I'm so ridiculously fussy about mine that I've sometimes sent three back to be remade.
No worries here, just a request for it to be very dry and off he went.
Prices not crazy but in line with nearly all the coffee shops nowadays (Ā£3.20 for a cappuccino).
One of really nice touches is he grinds cocoa beans as and when needed for the chocolate sprinkle.
Always worry these cafes may be unable to to compete, but please if you are nearby...
Read moreAuthentic neapolitan place. I'm a neapolitan living in London and this place, very close to where I live, is exactly what I was missing in Hammersmìth. The espresso there is proper neapolitan, Mattia, the owner, is welcoming and always free for a chat. In London is hard to find a place where you can relax after work other than a pub so this place gives you that " bar " vibes you don't get the chance to experience in this city very often. Highly recommended, and with the good season approaching is always a pleasure to have a coffe in relax, or even when you're busy, a good coffe break is what you need! Plus, alongside the coffee, there's a wide range of pastries and several neapolitan products hard to find here, and the prices are...
