Duncan Terrace Cafe — Restaurant in London

This place has a pleasant outside area you can sit comfortably with your dog with waiters conveniently assisting you with your meal. Unfortunately, I have got to note that despite me frequently dining here, I have had an unnecessarily large amount of negative interactions with an old blonde waitress, whom looks like a pug. I would be greeted with a nasty glare continued with a dialogue fit for a bum. Personally I have found that largely disrespectful and always hope for one of the young waitresses to be there instead, which is a hastle however I’d prefer to have a good start to my day. The food is acceptable for central and the price does not hide the stride of what inflation has done. Toilets are included, (it is very small though) Could be improved with a friendlier atmosphere from the older staff, A real shame, as this café is convenient for its parks...

Food intolerance/allergy people - beware!!!!!

I was initially so happy to enjoy their full English breakfast with gluten-free toast. The taste, I won’t lie, was absolutely immaculate. However, just as we were about to leave and pay, the waitress informed me that they had accidentally served me regular bread instead of gluten-free

While I appreciate the honesty, I’ve been suffering from a horrible stomachache and diarrhea all day due to this mistake. What truly pushed me to leave this review is the response I got as instead of a sincere apology or removing the item from the bill, I was simply told, “Well, now it’s already in.”

I'm not being to fussy but will cut to the chase But I was utterly disgusted at the experience and treatment of two ladies and there little baby by one of the staff members last week. I think one of the customers spilt some tea that could of potentially burned the baby. One of the ladies was trying to clean up the hot tea with a napkin when the staff member come and snatched it from the lady. Saying " these are expensive" I mean the price of a napkin is more important to the cafe then the well being of its customers. Complete joke and I will gladly swerve it next time. Horrendous customer service because money is more important....
