DUNKIN' Baker Street — Restaurant in London

Visited on a Saturday afternoon 10.5.2025 5pm and was extremely disappointed with the service. The staff (2 women) working at the time were shockingly rude and completely lacked basic customer service skills. There were no name tags visible, which made it difficult to identify who was responsible, but the team on shift was dismissive, passive-aggressive, and clearly uninterested in providing a welcoming experience.

While placing our order, one of the staff members was visibly irritated, showing attitude throughout the interaction. Not once did we receive a smile or even basic politeness – just cold, impatient responses that made us feel like we were a burden rather than customers.

The drinks we received were just as poor as the service. They were incredibly watery and completely lacked the flavour and consistency you’d expect. What was worse is that there was clearly no whipped cream left, yet instead of informing us honestly, they scraped together whatever leftovers were available and added it to the drinks, which only made them even more diluted and unpleasant. There was no apology or explanation – just a careless approach that showed no respect for quality or customer satisfaction.

It’s really disappointing to see such low standards, especially when other branches manage to uphold good service and product quality. A little communication and courtesy would have gone a long way. I won’t be returning to this...

I was somewhat shocked by Dunkin Donuts today. I was told I couldn't have my 3 donuts packed in a box and I would need to purchase 6 Donuts to have them packed I'm a box. I even offered to pay for the box... when asked why the Donuts couldn't be packed in a box the lady told me "they just can't but you can purchase 6 donuts" I didn't need nor want 6 Donuts so I again expressed that I only wanted 3... I was told I could buy 3 and have them packed in a box but they would charge me for 6 Donuts... I was gobsmacked by this suggestion especially as the lady was unable to explain why she couldn't simply put 3 Donuts into a box- 3 Donuts would have cost around £5 and 6 Donuts were almost £10. I just couldn't comprehend the logic and after speaking to the manager i walked out...

Coming from Boston, where Dunkin Donuts was founded, I was delighted to see a Dunkins in London. To those who are not from the UK and are used to a traditional Dunins shop you should be warned this location is the equivalent of a Dunkins Express. The shop itself is very tiny it can fit 3 - 4 people maximum, and the line goes out the door. They don't have the current traditional hot foods (bacon egg & cheese, avocado toast, etc). The donut selection is also quite different from what I am used to. They have many different filled donuts, usually with Bavarian cream, chocolate, and dulce de leche.
