Visited Energy Café (inside the museum) on 19 April 2025 at ~10:05 AM and paid around £17 for overpriced, inedible breakfast.
The male cashier (Italian accent) was openly hostile from the moment I approached the counterâsighing, tapping the surface, and refusing eye contact. After every item I ordered he cut me off with a loud âIs that all?â; when I replied, he snapped back, âNo, thatâs not what I askedâdo you understand?â He repeated this four times, each louder than the last, rolling his eyes and ridiculing me in front of other customers.
I left embarrassed, angry, and unable to eat the meal Iâd just paid for. (Tables were also sticky and the cutlery had residue.)
