Energy Cafe — Restaurant in London

Visited Energy Café (inside the museum) on 19 April 2025 at ~10:05 AM and paid around £17 for overpriced, inedible breakfast.

The male cashier (Italian accent) was openly hostile from the moment I approached the counter—sighing, tapping the surface, and refusing eye contact. After every item I ordered he cut me off with a loud “Is that all?”; when I replied, he snapped back, “No, that’s not what I asked—do you understand?” He repeated this four times, each louder than the last, rolling his eyes and ridiculing me in front of other customers.

I left embarrassed, angry, and unable to eat the meal I’d just paid for. (Tables were also sticky and the cutlery had residue.)

Until management addresses this employee’s behaviour and basic service standards, I cannot...

We ordered two main meals, a sandwich, a ciabatta with soup, and two drinks at around 2:30pm. No complaints about the sandwich, ciabatta, or the soup. However, the two main meals could have been far better. The food came out from under the heat lamp barely lukewarm. It was served on a cold (not even slightly warm) plate and the food was stone cold by the time we had paid and ordered. For £52 I expect better...
