One of the highlights of the exhibition is the guitar used by Kurt Cobain during Nirvana’s legendary 1993 MTV Unplugged performance — the Martin D-18E, specially modified for his left-handed playing.
Another highlight is the olive green wool cardigan Cobain wore during the MTV performance, a garment of deep symbolic significance.
The exhibition also features some Nirvana memorabilia, including concert posters, photographs, limited edition vinyl records, guitar picks. I only found out about the museum part by looking around on Google maps and doing reviews. I was a little disappointed that the museum was not across multiple floors and didn't showcase items from inception through to the present day, with in depth history like museums do but I came to understand why when a nice staff member explained it's a functioning College and also certain items are kept in storage. Nevertheless, it's a beautuful building and upon entering, there are lovely portraits of a few members of the Royal family. The external structure seemed impressive, and I was curious to see what was inside after hearing so much about the college my entire life. I thought I could just peek into the reception area. The security guard was pleasant. He told we may visit the museum for free. We spent an hour exploring and learning about the history of many vintage musical instruments.
