Culinary mix tastes that will surprise you. Absolutely to discover!! The Lost Property London is an absolute treasure! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by its warm and inviting ambiance—modern yet cozy, with a touch of charm that makes it feel like a well-kept secret. The food was simply outstanding. I started with mushroom, fresh and beautifully presented on a beautiful bed of jambon. For the main course, the slow-cooked seabass was melt-in-your-mouth tender, paired perfectly with creamy parsnip purée and a rich chooser rose wine paired I chooser from. Dessert was the star—a crepe with a secret ingredient hidden with vanilla ice cream. Every dish was artfully plated and packed with flavor. The service was impeccable—attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly without being intrusive. The staff were genuinely enthusiastic about the menu and happy to offer recommendations. The drinks selection was just as impressive. I chose an English sparkling wine, which complemented the meal perfectly. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just treating yourself, The Lost Property London delivers an unforgettable experience. I’ll definitely be back soon!

So weird experience I just had in this restaurant. The place is beauty, very quiet, very fancy. The main dishes were excellent and really copious (we've waited like 45 min to get have the plate but nevermind, the wait worth it and we have a good bottle of wine). But for desserts, everything goes wrong, I just ordered a simple plate of cheese and bread and I had to ask 5 times during almost one hour to have simple pieces of bread. I had to be very assertive and show how I was angry to the manager in order to have my bread. The waiters didn't take my order and they did some things like just took my plate off and they didn't ask if Ive finished or not (and of course, it wasn't). Finally the manager at the end offers me the bread and a little discount but the moment was ruined. I mean for 2 hours in the restaurant, I waited 1 hour to have just bread and cheese. Maybe better manage your employees otherwise it could be very bad experience and it's a pity because the quality of the food was so good and the location too. I hope this feedback helps you as well.

Staying at the Lost Property Hilton...this is their attached restaurant. I had the sea bass with potatoes and leeks. Just a small touch of caviar on the top of the fish., which I had with a piece of bread to go with, which was very tasty with a crunchy crust and nice salted butter. The house IPA is pretty decent. Finished off with a sticky toffee pudding. I think this is my first try with the pudding and it did not disappoint. A very slight burnt toasty hint of flavor but it just really worked very well with the caramel/toffee sauce and the vanilla ice cream. A touch more expensive than some of the other local options but as hotel restaurants go, I believe it was a decent value.

The restaurant was booked for 15 people to have afternoon tea. On arriving exactly on time, the tables had not been set up and were disjointed. After a considerable length of time this was sorted out but we had to start moving the chairs ourselves to hurry things along. After an hour someone finally took an order for the good selection of tea available. The food then started to arrive. Various assorted sandwiches arrived of which the smoked salmon was very good. However the rest were infused with far too much whole grain mustard, and vinegary on the palate. The avocado and tomato was a sorry soggy mess. Far too much white sliced bread was used across all the sandwiches. On the cake side there was a good choice but overall they were too sickly to enjoy with a few exceptions. Now comes the part which we found truly irritating and frankly inexcusable. A deposit had been paid and a 15% discount voucher received . These had not been deducted from the not so small bill, which included 4 bottles of Champagne. To add injury to insult the bill included a service charge of over £100, despite keeping us waiting over an hour before any refreshments arrived. What I cannot understand is that they were serving 15 reasonably high net worth people poorly , who will now not recommend the restaurant to any of their friends. What a missed opportunity. The bill was corrected and we insisted the service charge be removed. It is our choice whether to remunerate good service, which we always do , not the restaurants. I rarely write reviews but in this instance, the waiters final comment was “are you happy now” They may not have intended for it to be a snide comment to my wife but it was taken as one due to the...
