Superdrug — Local services in London

This is my least favourite Superdrug (I spend a lot of money at Superdrug!), every time I go in there there is some nonsense. The service is slow, there are a lot of staff standing around doing not a lot while one person deals with the checkout. They put ads up for special offers which aren't valid then act like you're the idiot for not knowing that. They make up rules about spending Health And Beauty card points - I had enough points to cover a £27 purchase but the woman on the checkout didn't seem to have a clue how the loyalty scheme worked, and the manager she called for help lied and said I could only spend £10 at a time. It happened to me a few times already that label prices was different then scan prices ,also staff by the till are too obtrusive by asking you too many things , like if you want to have beauty card ,SIM card then if you are interesting with perfumes offers ,even if I politely say ,no thank you they still insist. I work in this area and it is quiet handy to pop out there during the lunch if I need something, but answer always the same questions is a bit annoying . I do understand it is probably what they’ve been ask to do ,but I know a few people already which because of that chose to go to near by Boots as the shopping goes quicker without answering for unnecessary questions. I recently visited my local Superdrug store and was extremely disappointed by the behavior of one of the workers. From the moment I walked in, I felt that my questions and concerns were brushed off in a dismissive and unhelpful manner. The employee’s attitude lacked the courtesy and professionalism I would expect from a reputable establishment, and their overall demeanor made the experience far from pleasant.

I believe good customer service is key to maintaining a positive shopping environment, and unfortunately, this encounter has made me rethink my choice of store for my everyday needs. I hope Superdrug takes steps to address this kind of behavior to ensure that other customers do not face similar issues...
