I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service I received when ordering from Gordon Ramsay's Burger via UberEats. Despite placing my order well in advance, it took over an hour for the food to be handed to the driver. As I tracked the order on the app, I saw that two riders were assigned, waited around the restaurant for 10-20 min and then cancelled, which added to the frustration.
I assumed it was a prep issue and decided to follow up directly with the restaurant. However, when I called the to inquire about the delay, I was met with a rude and unsympathetic response from the person who answered the phone. Instead of taking ownership of the issue and offering a solution, she shifted the blame to UberEats and kept saying "It's not my fault" repeatedly. She even blamed me for calling saying she could have been talking to uereats instead of talking to me. This kind of attitude is unacceptable in the hospitality industry and only serves to exacerbate an already unpleasant situation.
While I understand that there may have been issues with UberEats and the riders, it is ultimately Gordon Ramsay Burger's responsibility to ensure a smooth and timely ordering experience. As a well-known brand, I expected better from you.
To make matters worse, when the food finally arrived, the burger was overcooked and dry. It was a far cry from the high-quality, expertly cooked burgers I had anticipated from a restaurant associated with Gordon Ramsay. The overall experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I would not recommend Gordon Ramsay's Burger to others based on this experience.
I urge the restaurant to take ownership of its mistakes and to ensure that customers are treated with respect and empathy, especially when things go wrong. It is only through genuine care and attention that a brand can build a loyal...
Read moreA Mixed Experience at Gordon Ramsay Street Burger....
I recently dined at Gordon Ramsay Street Burger in Farringdon, and whilst there were some highlights, overall, the experience left much to be desired.
Service and Atmosphere: 4/5
Let's start with the positives. Our waiter provided exceptional service—friendly, attentive, and efficient. The atmosphere was lively, and the location near Farringdon Underground Station is convenient.
The Disappointing Burger: 2/5
Now, onto the main event—the burger. We ordered the "Hell's Kitchen," touted as the most popular choice. Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. The flavor combinations were confusing, and the patty was overcooked, resembling rubber. Despite its promise of spiciness, it lacked any real kick. Frankly, it tasted nothing like what you'd expect from a chef of Gordon Ramsay's caliber. I've had better burgers elsewhere, even at half the price.
Other Menu Items: 3/5
Thankfully, not everything disappointed. The spicy wings with Kimchi and lime were finger-licking good, and the regular potato fries were made from actual potatoes. However, the mac 'n' cheese tasted stale, which was disappointing.
Bathrooms and Hygiene: 2/5
The bathrooms were another letdown. They were dirty, which is surprising given the restaurant's reputation. Clean facilities are essential, especially in a dining establishment.
In summary, while the service and some menu items were commendable, the burger experience left me with a massive stomach ache. I hate to say it, but you might find a better burger at Burger King. A Flat Iron burger tops this without question. Gordon Ramsay's name didn't...
Read moreThe food was not particularly nice or special. the service were extremely slow I waited over 15 minutes for 1 pot off bbq sauce and the restaurant was pretty much empty so I don’t know what the staff were doing! The restaurant is super dark inside for whatever reason.Anyway I was expecting the food to be next level due to the owner being Gordon Ramsey (the god of cooking). Also for whatever reasons the fries were not crispy in any way shape or form. (The fries were also not salted for whatever reasons), for whatever reasons half the other tables in the restaurant had a salt dispenser but mine didn’t! I also ordered a soft drink and it never arrived! (I only realised I didn’t receive the drink when I was paying the bill) . Please Come to this restaurant if you want to waste you’re money! I also asked the staff for a glass of tap water and they never brought it even though I reminded them twice. Also the staff don’t give you a pudding menu at the end for whatever reason (there was not one on the table either). Also the staff play the music so loud you can’t hear the other people on you’re table talking altogether the Experience was underwhelming Anyway if you’re looking for a good burger place go to a restaurant called honest burger which is down the road it has all the thing Gordon Ramsey burger is missing such as good food and polite well trained staff for...
