I love Greggs and cannot complain of the food- as im sure all of us would agree its tasty . however, i need to address the customer service here in brentford... firstly its under staff. 2nd the staff they have have no care on how to serve .. i ordered porridge - AND NO SPOON! how am i supposed to eat it?? then i ordered ham with cheese sandwich - go to the counter to ask for it to be cut as it came out uncut instead she serves another customer after attending to me and then decides to serve me after 5mins. once cut.. hands over the sandwich by throwing it on the countertop opened not in the bag. The Indian guy seems to not care about the customer service or food standards drops the food on the floor and decides to put it back up and place it on the tray. I'm sure the atmosphere would change if they had more staff...

I live around the corner and never tried the Greggs in my area, today I was around and decided to give it a try. I had a shock to hear the answer of the shop assistant. Her attitude was definitely a no. I have asked if the beef and vegetables pastry contains dairy and she replied ‘I don’t know’. I work in hospitality serving food so it’s our responsibility to know the ingredients and allergens in the food we offer. Told her that and she replied that she knows what’s inside but she can’t tell me!!!! It’s that a normal service?!? She was soooo rude. I replied that I’m dairy free and she should get familiar with allergens as she’s working in a shop selling food. People don’t understand that people can die because of...
