Greggs — Restaurant in London

This review is NOT about the quality of the food (*though I WILL say that Greggs food products will NEVER match the quality of the - sorely missed Percy Ingle). 112 Roman Road Greggs:

For just over a year now, I have been going to this shop to buy my morning bake and donut. BUT! For the last week and a half, I have been very disappointed. Every morning, when I have entered the shop, I can see and have been told that there are 'no donuts available', in fact... there are NO 'sweet treats' at all. The entire front glass display is EMPTY.

When I asked staff about this, they simply said "oh, there's a new driver." WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?! You have a SHOP that sells FOOD but it's because of a a 'new driver'? What does he not know where to deliver the goods?

NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

Also, I have to get this out of the way: the staff are and always have been SO miserable! One never gets a 'Good Morning' or a smile. The only words I ever hear are "cash or card?" or "scan your app." They look as if they are serving a life sentence! NOT good...

Food is as always normal only gave 2 stars as the Asian staff keep pin pointing to me some of the food are not halal based by the colour of my skin (I'm Asian but do not eat halal) hence I found it very displeaseing to be in. I've also made many complaints for staff training. The other staff who are not Asian never judge me or tell me if the food is halal or not. Other then that I have been buying from there since it use to be called the bakers (1990-2018). Have stopped since due to the Asian staff wearing headscarf constantly telling me not to buy food that...

Pasty everything is great, only issue there are times I go there where they have no pasties and they tell you to wait 15-20mins. This ain't a dine in restaurant, this is like fast food, go in, get your food and leave, shouldn't take any longer than 5-10 mins. And besides when you see something running out you should put another load in, for example if you see there are 3-4 cheese and onion pasties left put another 5-6 in the oven so it is ready when the others have been sold, not put it in when when it finishes and make the customer...
