Went to have a meal with my kids this evening, but was very disappointed with the hygiene standard, just to give an example. Firstly, the guy frying the chips was told to clean the table for new customers to sit due to COVID relegation. After He had cleaned the table on his way back to his area of work he touched the floor with both of his hands, as he was bending to go under the counter, he casually carried working and preparing customers fries. Secondly, due to the government discount scheme it was busy. The guy who was pitting the burgers together was a bit rushed of his feet. The cook was fast and kept handing over ready cooked burger meat and he had dropped one on the floor. They both did not attempt to pick it up as it was busy, the guy from the till went to help and picked up the burger from the floor and put it in the bin, GREAT, BUT after that he started to put the salad in the burgers without washing his hands. I rate the burgers on a level of 10 if give it a 4 not the best of meats used but okay for the price you pay for, regular customer after going a few times depending on who your served by you have to becarful the women last time charged me a pound extra for the shake instead of replacing the drink which I told her to do so make sure you always check your receipts, it's not the matter of the one pound but the principal and when I asked a pound was given back by a grumpy man I'm glasses some rude staff need to be trained how to treat regular customers. We've eaten here plenty of times over the years and the food has always been amazing.The milkshake was 10/10 as usual! The wings were 10/10 as usual!However, they recently must've changed the way they cook their burgers and maybe changed their patties too. They didnt taste fresh and weren't cooked on the flat grill like they used to be. Its a shame as this was our favourite halal burger place. the price is still the same however. The staff are friendly as usual which always makes our experience here good. We got the lotus biscoff milkshake. They didnt have cream. The happynero burger, which was really nice.
