Harris + Hoole — Restaurant in London

Dreadful bland, generic, soulless coffee shop. Arrived at 8:30am and no staff in shop. Went to toilet, which was comically filthy, not just for somewhere that had just opened minutes earlier, but also with the deep engrained grime associated with never being cleaned properly. Returned to shop and still no staff. Thought about serving myself or at least having a pastry while I waited but didn’t. Eventually a young man, who clearly has ‘90s sports wear’ set up as an eBay search, strolled out of the back room. He very politely served me a coffee in a clearly badly broken cup. Asked for it to be charged, so he poured into from broken cup to another, rather than replacing. Sat at a table, also really dirty, as were all the others. Not really confident anything in shop is clean. Music awful and offensively tinny. Furnishing chosen by someone who absolutely has a ‘live, love, life’ sign hanging from a bit of old in their loo at home (which hopefully a cleaner than the one here). £3.45 for black coffee, most redeeming features of which were that it was hot and wet. An airport Starbucks would be better and rather drink bleach than have coffee in one...

Hey there! I just had to share my amazing experience at Harris & Hoole! Not only was the chilled latte absolutely delicious, but the presentation was top-notch. I also had the pleasure of receiving exceptional customer service from Christy and Eva today. They were both so friendly and welcoming, and they made my visit truly memorable. But that's not all - I also tried the warm milk with hot chocolate on top, and it was the perfect treat on a chilly day. I can't wait to come back and try more of their amazing drinks and treats. Overall, I highly recommend Harris & Hoole for their delicious drinks, beautiful presentation, and outstanding customer service. Thank you, Christy and Eva, for making my visit so enjoyable. I'll definitely be back...

Ordered a moccha got a latte which is disappointing because it wasn't even busy at that time. But the Latte had hardly any flavour. The coffee blend is absolutely not to my taste. Had a Egg Benedict. Toast was toasted to perfection, crispy but not dry. The ham was flavourful and plenty of it. Unfortunately there are enormous minus points in the flavour and texture or the hollandaise which was too thick and lacked flavour. The egg should have been with an runny yolk but was hard build.

Was first time I was there so next time would try something else. Pastries and so on looked great.
