Hendon Park Cafe — Restaurant in London

Came here with wife & 3 young kids midweek in afternoon & were made to feel welcome as soon as we set foot in the place...

Ordered shakshuka (best we've found in London so far, 11/10), falafel (9/10), halloumi sandwich (10/10), hummus (9.5/10), pizza & chips (8.75/10) which arrived fast & fresh & looked as good as it tasted (we probably ordered 1 dish too many but zero regrets, just a few bites leftover).

Staff were patient & delightful & had my kids laughing in seconds despite 2 of the 3 entering mid-tantrum (the complimentary ice cream may have helped, but I reckon the staff should get some of the credit for calming them down & would do just fine if they ever chose to pursue careers in teaching/child care😀).

Value for money (9.25/10) overall experience (10/10) Likelihood to return (100% - I actually returned a few days later on my own after a meeting in the area- had the English breakfast (9/10) which was too generous for me to finish, but delicious nevertheless).

To anyone who hasn't been yet - what are u waiting for???? Can't recommend this place highly enough- a true north...

We visited the Hendon Park Café on a Sunday lunchtime on the basis of other reviews pointing out that it delivers good food at a reasonable price. I have to say that the other reviews are entirely accurate and we rather enjoyed our meal in the sunshine.

I went for the Full English Breakfast, as it's served all day, and this arrived as quite the platter: scrambled eggs, beans, tomatoes, two sausages, mushrooms, chips and toasted bread. I managed to clear my plate but it was a close run thing. My wife went for a baked potato with cheese and beans which was similarly filling. No complaints on that front.

The staff were also very helpful and it's clear that all of the meals are cooked on demand - which is probably why all of the inside tables were full despite the sunshine outside. Still we had no trouble finding a spot outdoors and were able to enjoy a...

Had really an amazing shakshuka. The weather was really lovely, pleasant for us to enjoy it more in the open than be seated indoors. The staff was polite....infact the chef personally met us n suggested that since our spice tolerance is high should have asked for a spicer version n he would have been happy to serve us....guys I am making this special statement for we were the last order for the day but the chef was as enthusiastic as maybe he would be at the start of the day....that's something which took our heart.
