Hola Guacamole — Restaurant in London

Wonderful burrito restaurant just off the Southbank (near Blackfriars station). The menu is simple and delicious. The staff are friendly and efficient, with the average price being around £8 for a burrito. It might seem a little pricey, but they are decent portions, all the ingredients are fresh and it's made right in front of your eyes. I had the naked steak burrito (all the burrito ingredients, but in a box and without the tortilla wrap), and it was delicious!

Trying their best to be sustainable where they can too, with most drinks being in cans, paper boxes and wooden cutlery. Plenty of seating outside too in a lovely courtyard. Definitely worth popping by if you...

There was meat in my veggie burrito but I only realised after several bites. I have been vegetarian for 10+ years. I went back to say this, and showed them the meat. They responded by saying ‘my bad, sometimes things drop into the other containers’. They did not actually apologise or offer a refund/replacement. When I asked for my money back because I couldn’t eat the rest of it the women said ‘babe, you’ve eaten half of it…’. I replied saying I had eaten it before realising there was meat in it… She then rolled her eyes and said something in Spanish to her colleague. I am not complaining at this honest mistake, but the rude and non apologetic...

We stopped to have lunch here today and really loved it. I chose the Burrito with Beef and a can of Lemon San Pelegrino which came to £13 in total. The Burrito was stuffed with ingredients and was tasty and filling. The feed was cooked to tender and the salad/salsa looked and tasted fresh. There is general seating outside for the different food establishments and the only negative was the lack of shade (not their fault). It's great to see businesses like this thriving.
