⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Imaan Restaurant on Plashet Grove is truly the pride and shaan of Lahore in terms of both hospitality and food quality. Their black-peppered lamb is simply divine – fresh, succulent, and bursting with flavour every single time. The haleem is also outstanding; they’re always honest about it being freshly cooked on the day, and it often sells out quickly because it’s just that good.
These two dishes alone make them stand out from all their competitors in London, offering the most authentic and delicious Lahori flavours you can find. Another thing I really appreciate is that they adjust the spice levels according to your taste and never drown their curries in excessive oil like many other places do.
Even their naans are impressive - not thick and raw like you get elsewhere, but soft, fluffy, and made to your preference with the perfect depth, not hard like hammers. Their prices and portion sizes are very reasonable too, especially considering the top-notch quality and taste.
I absolutely love their food and service. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a true taste of...
Read moreI have been going here for a few years and slowly been witnessing its decline last year Today was the last time I or anyone of my colleagues will go back The meat was like a amateur had cooked it bit of water and few spices ....bland no salt or taste Chicken kebabs ....wouldn't even feed the dog.
The owner came and I told him politely that no taste he was like "WHAT" let me taste ...put his finger on the wok said something to the lahori waiter (another character) and disappeared No apologies No replacement No refund even though his seen us for last few years Anyway.. We felt uneasy the food was and has been terrible all year....maybe like most places you have earned to much money and let it go to your head I'm just saying That's the norm with most of Asian community.
Won't be returning And if people understand and accept my review they also would be weary before ordering
And also please stop this old vegetables being served and what is that chutney is that even yoghurt.
Hope you...
Read moreI’ve been coming to Imaan since they first opened. It’s a decent set up in terms of restaurant decor. I think the decor could be improved (Lahori Nihari decor is much better). It’s family friendly and the staff are very friendly and attentive to all your food needs.
The Nihari at Imaan’s is by far the best I’ve ever tasted, not only in East London but London. The portion sizes are excellent (much bigger portion size then that offered by Lahori Nihari). The meat is tender and fresh. There’s a lot of gravy juices which enhances the flavours more. It’s the right combination of meat to gravy and when you add the chillis, ginger and lemon, you have that powerful taste come through! Naan sizes are excellent too and it’s always fresh.
Thanks to Ali, Raja and Mubashir for always being very helpful and the excellent customer...
