Jishal Goan Restaurant Wembley — Restaurant in London

Today afternoon, I was thinking to have some Goan thali and started searching restaurants near by I got this one. Hence, found the Google location and reached this place comfortably. On door itself i can see that they are serving many other thali as well. Restaurants was almost free the time i reached and it was quick to order and till I was waiting one big fried pappad served. But I was more curious about Goan thali which arrived in 10 mins and it was looking just okay because being a food blogger i have tasted real Goan thali at Goa itself. So, mine expectations was high but in taste this is one of the worst Goan thali i had. Fish curry will be served with totamo gravy. But if anyone knows and tasted than Goan fish curry gravy and dry fish fry is the main sensation. So, here what they served is just name not the taste and flavor for they charged 11 pound and given receipt of 10.99 pound ( order ref 3229567) billing printer doesn't work!!. And the guy who serve and manage billing counter is very rude, i felt that he is giving free food to the people. Management has to think seriously to improve Goan thali taste and their staff attitude. Even I tried chicken n fish thali both was pathetic good to after you high to have food when u don't need to taste..just eat . Update - Friday evening, it is best to avoid as the place was packed with guys drinking. That in itself was not an issue, but with only one chef, the quality took a hit and the food wasn't as good as when we went there the first time. I was also very unimpressed by the waiter using his bare hands to pack salads when he had just been accepting money. Its a shame they don't pay a bit more attention to these small things - could have been a success due to the unique taste on offer.

(From first visit - leaving it here) The food was excellent, authentic and tasty. We haven't come across some of the dishes served here, anywhere else. Even though the menu is predominantly generic North Indian, there were some dishes which are Goan. I would highly recommend giving it a try if you are after something a bit different. The worst Thali Ever. Placed an order via Uber eats for home delivery. We got more rice than anything else. Half a piece of fish. One piece was big and the other very tiny. I called the restaurant to talk about this and he said he cannot control what comes from the sea lol. My point was that he needed to ensure the portions were equal in both the thalis ordered. The attitude of the man on the phone was so shocking and terrible he was shouting back at me, so 0/10 for customer service. Order here if you want to waste your money and be terribly disappointed.
