During my recent visit to Wembley, I had the pleasure of indulging in the traditional Rajasthani cuisine at a local restaurant that truly exceeded my expectations. The highlight of my dining experience was the “Daal Bati Churma,” a classic dish that embodies the essence of Rajasthani flavors.
From the moment the Daal Bati Churma was served, I was impressed by the authentic presentation and the inviting aroma that promised a delightful culinary journey. The dish consisted of perfectly baked bati, a round bread made from whole wheat flour, that was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was served with a generous portion of daal, a lentil curry that was rich, hearty, and infused with a blend of spices that provided a warm and comforting flavor. The churma, a sweet and crumbly side made from coarsely ground wheat mixed with ghee and sugar, offered a perfect balance to the savory components of the meal.
What made the experience truly memorable was not just the quality of the food but also the warm and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure that every aspect of our meal was enjoyable. Their commitment to maintaining the authenticity of Rajasthani cuisine while providing excellent service is commendable.
The Daal Bati Churma was a culinary delight that not only satisfied my appetite but also gave me a taste of Rajasthani culture and hospitality. It’s rare to find a place that so accurately captures the essence of traditional cuisine with such attention to detail and passion.
For anyone looking to explore the rich flavors of Rajasthani food in Wembley, this restaurant is a must-visit. The combination of delicious food, warm hospitality, and a cozy ambiance ensures a dining experience that you’ll remember fondly. I left with a full stomach and a heart full of appreciation for the culinary heritage of Rajasthan, making this a well-deserved...

Review Title: Disappointed by Unfair Charges at Krishna Vegetarian Restaurant, Wembley
I recently visited Krishna Vegetarian Restaurant in Wembley, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing — not because of the food, but due to their unfair and rigid policies.
To begin with, the restaurant does not offer complimentary drinking water. Instead, they provide just two 500 ml plastic bottles per table, and any additional water has to be paid for. In a vegetarian restaurant that presents itself as customer-friendly, this felt completely unreasonable.
To make things worse, they automatically added a 10% service charge to the bill. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and requested its removal (which is my right as a customer in the UK), they told me I would instead have to pay 20% VAT — a bizarre and troubling policy that makes no legal or logical sense.
It left a very bad impression. The staff seemed more concerned with enforcing these questionable billing practices than ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
This kind of treatment takes away from what could have been a decent vegetarian meal. I won’t be returning, and I hope others are aware of these tactics before...
Read moreVery disappointed with our trip here We waited 30 minutes for a table, which we were expecting and totally understand this. We had barely sat down let alone looked at the menu and one of the waiters abruptly told us to make sure we have our order ready. Yet we had to ask 4 times for someone to come and take our order and had to wait an hour and a half before someone finally came and took out order. We had to remind the staff to bring us a jug of water which was brought to us without any glasses. We also asked for ice and the waiter told us they don’t have any... Our food then came after another hour of waiting but we had no plates. By this time we were so fed up of having to wait we just started eating from the dish. We had missing dishes, despite us asking for this dish twice, it still wasn’t brought out. By this time we had finished our meal and went to pay the bill. The lady gave us our bill but had charged us full price and not applied the 50% discount. We noticed that this had also happened to many customers who paid before us. They all complained and got it adjusted after arguing for it - I believe they are doing this in an attempt to con their customers and the Government scheme and it’s just...
