Mumbai Dosa — Restaurant in London

I have been wondering for months how to rate this place. There are things that really bother me, but despite that, I always go back there. Let's focus on what they specialize in - Dosa. Masala Dosa is the best I have ever eaten and I always go back there for it and the portion is really huge. My husband loves their Vegetable Byriani even though once they served him yogurt with it which was off. Dahi Puri and Samosa Chaat were not my favorites, but can I blame them? They have a different profession that they are good at. My husband thought it was delicious. A matter of taste. Once we decided to get something completely different and ordered Paneer Butter Masala, it was neither good nor bad but I think it should not be on the menu. Our latest discovery is their Pav Bhaji, I thought I didn't like it, but in their version it is delicious! Same as Chole Puri, always fresh and crispy. Waiting time varies so much that I ate my meal a long time ago and my husband was still waiting. I would rather wait with him and just get the food after a longer time. Masala Chai is very good, always freshly cooked. The cleanliness is also not so good there but the food is really good, that's why I give it 4 stars. The service, especially from one woman at the window is tragic. If it wasn't for the excellent cooks this place would deserve at most 2 stars....

I went to Mumbai Dosa Wala today with my friend, and honestly, it was a terrible experience from start to finish. We ordered dosa, pav bhaji, and noodles. Unfortunately, nothing met our expectations.

Food Quality: Everything tasted below average. The dosa was bland, the pav bhaji was mediocre, and the noodles were just plain boiled with barely any flavor. Completely unappetizing. Wrong Billing: My friend accidentally ordered pav bhaji, and they gave us 2 extra pavs. While he was eating, they suddenly charged extra for those pavs, even though there was no clear communication about it. Very unprofessional. Poor Hygiene: The place did not feel clean at all. It really made us uncomfortable to eat there. Customer Service: The girl at the counter had a really rude attitude. No basic courtesy or willingness to help. It felt like we were bothering them by just being there. Overall, a very bad experience. I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go...

I would have rated them in negative if possible. Worst ever food experience. Ordered on uber eats, packaging was so bad that everything had spilled out of boxes into the bag, then when we sorted out everything, they sent wrong items, only 1 out of ordered 4 items was correct. Instead of shezwan fried noodles, they sent us mushroom fried rice. Instead of paneer fried rice, we had something that had no paneer in it. Then manchuria was already smashed to paste and samosa chat had no samosa in it but just sauces. Overall a very bad experience. The delivery guy informed that this is a regular practice of this restaurant to send wrong items and spilling is a frequent thing with them coz of bad packaging. Never order with them, they dont value...
