Recently visited Joes Chicken , and I must say, it’s a solid spot for satisfying your fried chicken cravings. Located conveniently in the heart of town, this place doesn’t just serve your average fast food chicken – they take it up a notch.

First, the atmosphere is laid-back and casual, with friendly staff ready to take your order. The menu is varied, offering everything from crispy fried chicken pieces to mouthwatering chicken burgers and even loaded fries. For my visit, I went for the classic fried chicken combo with fries and a soft drink.

The chicken itself was the star of the show: perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It wasn’t overly greasy, and the seasoning had a great balance of flavors – not too salty but enough kick to make each bite exciting. The fries were fresh, golden, and had a great crunch, complementing the chicken perfectly.

One standout feature is their house-made dipping sauces – I tried the smoky BBQ and garlic aioli, both of which were excellent. The portion sizes were generous, and I left feeling satisfied but not overstuffed.

The only downside was the wait time. It wasn’t excessive, but I did have to wait about 15 minutes for my meal during the lunch rush. If you’re in a hurry, it’s worth considering.

Writing this review while sat on the toilet with a case of explosive diarrhoea. Avoid like the plague!! Food was absolutely disgusting, the grilled chicken burger was atrocious. You could see the tomato purée on it, and the piece of chicken was so small that it was like eating a plain burger bun with lettuce and mayonnaise. Fried chicken burger was equally as gross, and had to be thrown after one bite. Wings were vomit inducing, just tasted like old oil. Also how do you even make dead chips?! I don’t understand how that’s physically...

They speak so rudely to customers and call them liars for raising a complain about their burger bun being moldy. They don't want to accept their mistake and on top of that get so rude. On top of that the illeterate uneducated girls working there, threathen their customers. We are definitely reporting this business to Food and Hygiene Safety department. They deserve to be shut down.
