Jupiter Burger – London Fields Review
Hype & Expectations (4/5) Jupiter Burger is an Instagram favourite, With the buzz and the branding, expectations were naturally high. I made the journey across London anticipating a long wait, but the queue moved quickly—from arrival to first bite took around 20–30 minutes, maybe less.
The Burger Experience (3.5/5) I went for the Jupiter Burger, their premium option featuring a smash patty, sweet onions, iceberg lettuce, and tomato—no fries, which brought it to £10. • The first bite hit the spot: the crispy, caramelised smash edges and the sweet onions worked beautifully, delivering that classic American-style burger flavour. • The bun was spot on—authentic, soft, and ideal for soaking up all that juicy goodness. • But as I got through it, the lettuce and tomato began to get in the way, muting the flavour of the patty and adding extra moisture that made the burger a bit soggy. I found myself rushing through it rather than savouring each bite.
In hindsight, I wish I’d gone for the standard cheeseburger—which seems more focused and likely delivers the cleaner, meat-forward experience I was craving.
Value for Money (4/5) At £10 without fries, the Jupiter Burger is fairly priced for a London street-style burger, especially given the quality of the ingredients. But as their premium burger, I expected a bit more finesse and clarity of flavour.
Overall Rating: 3.5/5 Jupiter Burger delivers good ingredients and a strong first impression, but the Jupiter itself felt a little over-complicated. The veg dulled the flavour of what could have been a stand-out burger.
Would I return? Yes—but next time, I’m going straight for the standard cheeseburger, which I suspect is the real star of the show.
Is it worth the hype? Almost, there are others out there that are equally as good...
Read more8/25: Amended from a 5* review, because of how atrocious my visit today was. First off - the hygiene. Or utter lack thereof. The staff member was eating on the bar, dropping crumbs and spittle into the open containers of lettuce and tomato as flies buzzed around. He later sprayed disinfectant not only on the counter where his half eaten meal had been, but across the buns toasting on the griddle and the containers of lettuce/ tomato. Whilst I tried ordering, he then proceeded to sneeze over the buns toasting on the grill. The chips that were so amazingly good before, were already premade and left sitting out, and were served reheated yet luke warm and soggy. Unfortunately, I had already paid, so I was stuck with my meal; and when I questioned it, he made a passive aggressive remark about me already being lucky to eat.
The hair in my chips was the icing on the proverbial cake. 😔
Am so bummed because I truly loved this place, and had already recommended it to a number of friends. However, after today I CANNOT recommend, and will be reporting to the appropriate hygiene controls.
6/25: If I could give more than 5* I would. The cheeseburger + fries was SO GOOD. Patties hand smashed to order. Brioche bun lightly toasted before the toppings are added. And the fries !!!! Hand cut and fried to order. They taste like 🇺🇸. ❤️ paired with their Housemade Jupiter sauce, words cannot describe. The quality of each and every ingredient is out of this world. Such a great addition to Netil Market !! I will...
Read moreso this is another tricky one. i wasnt sure how i would rate jupiter burger but i decided to give them 5 stars. the ingredients are fresh and tasty. the thing that made me think was the right meat-to-everything-else ratio in the burger. i tried a single jupiter burger and a double cheese burger. i think i did it the wrong way and you should probably switch it around. since the jupiter burger is loaded with salad and a tomato you really need a second meat patty. (i personally think it should come as a double) the cheese burger is simpler and there a single is enough. the fries are great. probably need a...
