A stunning little pocket secret in the heart of Richmond with cosy, homely vibes at the front and as you meander through to the back.. you'll find an unexpected garden seating area! As you walk in you're enticed and greeted by a beautiful array of baked goods both savoury and sweet.. The staff are wonderful! with warm welcomes and attentive service, you instantly feel comfortable. Great food both in presentation and taste! - having visited for brunch I had ordered spinach fritters with poached eggs.. oh my.. did they hit the spot! Eggs poached to perfection complete with the insta-friendly runny middle that just oozed a stunning orange. My company had the chicken, chorizo fococcia; the flavour was as amazing as the smell, served warm the toasted bread allowed a satisfying crunch as you bit into it and both plates were seasoned to perfection. Ideal for catch ups, brunches and coffees! Definitely going to have to drop in again!! 😍

Lovely little cafe with delicious food and drinks. The staff were very friendly and constantly made sure we were looked after. We sat in front of the small kitchen area and watched the chef make our meals. A nice experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the dishes which were generous in portions. We completed our brunch with a slice of carrot cake. It was moist and was the least sickly sweet carrot cake I've had so far. Probably the best carrot cake I've ever had. I'd definitely come back again.

Delicious coffee. I had a latte with oat milk. Beans were from Ethiopia & had a lovely rich, bitter roast to them. I had a Mediterranean salad, which had slightly too much olive oil but felt fresh & well-seasoned. The venue is small but perfect if you need to spend an hour or two working as plenty of plug sockets & enough seating for individuals. Would say no more than 2 people. Definitely go for a delicious coffee & relaxing hour to wile away the time.

Honestly went in and it looked so cute and lovely, lady working behind the till was great, and very welcoming. Barista was also a delight, coffee excellent. BUT we went to sit down at a kitchen bar at the back, and could see the chef cooking (very cute you'd think). NO. HE LICKED HIS FINGERS CONSTANTLY. Used his hands instead of utensils to move food around the kitchen. ATE the last piece of everything he made. Eggs Benedict? Ate the last piece of ham. Roasted veg? Ate a piece of aubergine. Toast and butter? Literally ate it behind the counter. Used his finger to push eggs Benedict sauce off the spoon onto the plate, then licked his finger, AND CARRIED ON WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS.

honestly we saw this, took one look at each other and left.

If you put a chef Infront of the customers, it's got to be better than that.

Suchef was absolutely fine, wore blue gloves and seemed to know...

Saturday afternoon wasn't too busy. Waitresses were not especially welcoming and quite abrupt. One waitress kept wandering off to a table where her friends were and eating their food and hugging them rather than working. A young mum with a pram had to leave because staff were unwilling to help move a couple of chairs so she could get the pram inside. Food took a long time to arrive (35+mins) despite not being very busy. Felt bad for some other people who had ordered before us and still not served. Would have been nice for somebody to come over and apologise as we were beginning to think about leaving as thought our order been forgotten. However, the burger was excellent. Cherry tomatoes perfect and the burger very tasty and juicy. Food has made what would otherwise be a 2/5...
