2025 update:

I needed to get some work done on my laptop so I came here and I have completely changed my mind! Their latte was so good and smooth, I ordered a second and I’m someone who can barely get through one cup of coffee!

The seating downstairs is also really good and spacious.

Maybe it’s just me but I’ve never walked into a cafe that lists drinks by single/double shot for pricing.

I ordered a mocha but the cocoa quality was poor. I got a single shot because I honestly didn’t know what I was used to getting before (I’ve never been given the choice.) The pricing was high so I assumed I was getting the same quality/shots as I get from other cafes. Due to the single shot, I found the coffee to be very weak.

I asked for an extra shot and was charged 0.90p?! 🙄 I mean, I had already paid 3.40 for my drink which was a small size, so that took the total to £4.50. That stung. I feel like she should have charged me the difference between single and double shot which was 0.40p.

Unfortunately, the coffee didn’t taste nice. I didn’t realise that until I got the extra shot.

The cafe itself is cute and cozy and has downstairs, inside, and outside seating.

I might be back but defo not...

Lovely bijou cafe that has great sourdough breakfast toasties. We had traditional cheese and tomato & Mozzarella pesto..Our friend has a super sized croissant ..cake selection looked super yum. No protests about asking for hot water for me. Perfectly willing to be charged for it. I always carry goats milk and single estate earl grey none of which are available anywhere even Harrods. Eclectic design features like a chandelier hanging from the industrial exposed ceiling. They even sell organic veg from a chill cabinet in the corner. NB couldn't get close enough to take photos without intruding on other customers. Ask at the counter if you want to purchase some. There is a downstairs area that needs some TLC. It's got some obvious damp. If you want to book for a meetup they would need to pre heat the space and raise the low...

Came here with a friend for afternoon snack & coffee as walked by a few times & thought would try. Staff was mixed as one behind the counter was rather abrupt & made you feel rushed when the other, lady with glasses was very nice. My friend was reading out what sandwiches were on offer & the abrupt staff member started to ring that up as what she wanted. Took two attempts to make it clear wasn't quite ready to order. The good items & coffee & tease had were very good. My friend had chicken panini & i had the spinach & ricotta roll. The final disappointment was the same abrupt staff member cleared our plates away while we were still drinking our hot drinks. Made us feel as if we needed to hurry up & leave. Even though the food & drinks were good I won't return as service severely let...
