This Flat Iron feels like a hidden spot with its green entrance. On arrival we walked down the stairs and were warmly greeted. Our first table wasn’t great as it was in an open location and right under the air con, but Jordan quickly moved us to a cosy corner which was much better.

We were given a bottle of tap water and popcorn, a Flat Iron tradition that shows their focus on looking after customers. Vito, who looked after us, was polite, welcoming and felt genuinely sincere. Another member of staff came over and helped fix a wobbly table without hesitation.

The atmosphere was excellent, clean, well lit, and we had natural sunlight coming from the pavement above. The music and vibe were spot on, no awkward silences and nothing overpowering conversations.

The food was great as expected. Presentation was contemporary and rustic, very much Flat Iron’s standard. We had two flat iron steaks with fries and salad to share, plus two diet cokes. The bill came to around £52, which felt very good value for money, especially for steak in Hammersmith.

We left for a theatre but came back which is where Lani was very welcoming and handed us the complimentary ice cream, which was a lovely touch.

Overall, a great experience. Jordan, Vito, and Lani stood out for their service, and the team made us feel looked after. I’ll definitely return to this Flat...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Flat Iron, Hammersmith, and I can confidently say it's an experience worth having. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with the staff exuding an energy that immediately made us feel at home. You can tell they genuinely enjoy being there, which makes such a difference in the overall experience.

The food was nothing short of outstanding. Each dish was perfectly prepared and packed with flavor. The steaks, in particular, were cooked to perfection – tender, juicy, and full of depth. The sides were equally impressive, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the restaurant really stood out.

What really sets this place apart, though, is the customer service. The staff was incredibly attentive without being overbearing, and their enthusiasm was contagious. It's clear they take pride in what they do, and it made for an incredibly positive dining experience.

The concept of the steakhouse is fresh and innovative, blending classic flavors with a modern twist. Overall, the vibes were fantastic, the food was top-notch, and the service was exceptional. I’ll definitely be back!

Special shout out to Jordan, Robyn, Aurelia and Shae! Thanks for our...

Flat Iron provides such a good dining experience! The attention to detail is amazing and it is truly a (somewhat) affordable foodie experience! I would recommend a reservation, as they do get busy, but reservations are not hard to get, especially since they have so many locations. When you are seated, you are given popcorn cooked in beef drippings, which sounds odd, but is really good! For £15 the steak is pretty good, but I will say quite chewy, but at that low price, I guess it is expected. The sides are a good size and can easily be shared between two people, depending on how hungry you are, and the bearnaise sauce is so creamy, so good! To finish off the meal, you get an ice cream token for brown butter ice cream that can be topped with chocolate shavings - I highly recommend this addition - which is such a good final touch! I will say, it does get to be somewhat expensive when you have a glass of wine and a side, but the overall experience was so cool due to the attention to detail with the starter and finishing with the ice cream! I would recommend if looking for a fun culinary expierence in London, but just know that you get what you pay for with the steak, so don’t expect the best steak of your...

I'd heard good reviews about this place offering the best steak in town and it didn't disappoint.. food and service were excellent overall, starting with complimentary popcorn on arrival . Steak cooked to perfection ( in my case well done but also cooked medium rare for my daughter) and perfectly seasoned without being smothered in sauce/ gravy which is a refreshing change for British roast meat dishes. My other daughter sampled the truffle burger and gave it the thumbs up 👍 . We also ordered creamed spinach, roasted aubergine and tomato and beer dripping fries as sides, all of which were equally as delicious , washed down with red wine and water. Menu is fairly limited but to me that's the beauty of it.. rather than offering loads of mediocre dishes they concentrate on steak and do it well. Burgers and starter options were also available for smaller appetites plus loved the mini meat cleaver token idea which you exchange for a complimentary ice cream on your way out. Big bonuses were 1) attentive staff and 2) clean toilet facilities ..simple touches yet surprisingly rare in my experience especially in London. Recommend booking in advance as we did as would thoroughly recommend 🥩 🍔🍷🍦
