KFC London - Edgware Road — Restaurant in London

Made an order at a kiosk the other day but the machine cancelled the order despite it taking the money from my card. Spoke to one of the workers showing that the machine took the payment but didn’t give a receipt. I could clearly see the order on their screen yet they cancel the order and say nothings come through their system. Spent 30 minutes going back and forth explaining that the money has gone through and we just want our order. Came to an agreement that if the money doesn’t come back to our account by next week they’d make our order no questions asked, with a written statement and signature from the manager.

Next week comes, money hasn’t been refunded. Go back and show the proof of written statement and valid purchase from my bank app. For 5 minutes they tell us they can’t do anything and they supposedly didn’t receive our payment; insinuating that we’re “scamming” them. Manager is called to explain the situation. Thankfully they make our order. However, the workers at the front clearly state their thoughts out loud saying “so we’re just giving out free food now.” I’m not one for confrontation but seeing that we’re paying customers, it makes no sense to be spouting such comments.

Was in London for the day with my son and his friends. They decided they wanted a KFC this was the nearest one. To start with the place looks dirty. only a couple of tables inside that was not an issue. The issue was they looked like they hadn't been cleaned for days The food was on the floor underneath the tables so when I went to sit down I was standing in old food. 2 out of the 4 of us ordered and after a couple of bites we left I tried the fries and the taste was horrible. The two that ordered said the food was not nice and they noticed that there was only one cook on and it was busy when we arrived. Absolutely shocking experience. I went in just a few minutes before 11 PM Saturday the 17th of May and was using the self-service kiosk when the lady at the counter informed me they were only doing takeaway as she was closing, it was okay . I could do take away live locally. When I tried to place my order and pay, the kiosk was already shut down. I then approached the counter, but she didn’t respond, which I took to mean she was no longer serving, so upseting I could tell she was ignoring me.
