Erbil Restaurant in Edgware Road, Central London - A Culinary Journey to Erbil** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you're searching for an unforgettable dining experience that transports you straight to the heart of Iraqi Kurdish cuisine, look no further than Erbil Restaurant. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted by an inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements the exquisite food. The ambience strikes a perfect balance between cosy and vibrant, adorned with authentic décor that evokes a sense of Kurdish heritage. The soft, warm lighting creates a welcoming space that’s perfect for both intimate dinners and lively gatherings with friends and family. Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the food! We were treated to an incredible assortment of dishes, beginning with a delightful array of complimentary starters that set the tone for our meal. The fresh salad was crisp and flavorful, while the creamy hummus was rich and perfectly seasoned—an ideal way to whet our appetites for the feast to come. For our mains, we indulged in the authentic Erbil Kebab, which was nothing short of spectacular. The juicy tender meat was perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. The lamb chops were sublime, succulent, and bursting with flavour, while the rice provided a flawless base that harmoniously tied all the elements of our meal together. The addition of grilled tomatoes and a medley of tender lamb and chicken cubes elevated our dining experience to new heights, showcasing the true essence of Kurdish culinary artistry. Each dish was generously portioned, ensuring that our cravings were thoroughly satisfied. The quality and authenticity of the flavours transported us to the vibrant streets of Erbil, and every bite was a celebration of tradition and passion. What truly sets Erbil Restaurant apart, however, is their exceptional customer care. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about sharing their heritage through food. It was evident that they took great pride in their offerings, and their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. In conclusion, Erbil Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in authentic Iraqi Kurdish cuisine. The exquisite flavours, delightful atmosphere, and exemplary service come together to create a dining experience that is truly remarkable. We can't wait to return and savour more of their delicious offerings!

I came here twice with my husband. First time, we came about an hour before closing and the lady kept telling us to hurry up and decide what we want because she wants to go home, which was so rude and unwelcoming. They then refused to take card payment but when it was late and they saw we really didn’t have cash they took out the card machine as an ‘exception’. Today I went back with my husband once again, this time at 4pm. We ordered a platter with a wide mix, the kebab and lamb tikka was lovely but everything else was horrible. We were served raw chicken cubes and the wings were drowned in nothing but pure lemon and vinegar. They took it back and then when we tried to pay they add more money to the bill saying it’s not optional and it’s for the bread they bring out in the beginning. We didn’t order any bread?? Our platter already comes with bread. But this woman is so despicable and rude and has no manners, she told me in the end to deduct it from the bill which by the way she refused to show me until I insisted and she tells me to pass my phone so she can take a photo of it. We go and get cash and give her the right amount and she starts getting rude to my husband and I and told us to get out over 50p. I’ve never seen such bad customer service and manners overall. She is so rude even to all the staff and I saw her push one of the waiters and shout at them. There are sooo many shops all over Edgware Road and surrounding them and today I understood why this is the only empty one. Avoid at all costs and go spend your money in sarchnar, azmar or anywhere else. We will not be returning you should be ashamed of your embarrassing behaviour. The rice was also not fresh and it was so old and filled with oil-you can tell it was reheated time and time again. That stupid lady will be the reason why no one will ever come back to the shop again and she is making you lose customers. Get rid of her and you will see a huge change in your business. I had the worst dining experience at Erbil Restaurant on Edgware Road. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly gentleman at the entrance, which gave us some hope. The young waitress who first served us was lovely, and even the chef seemed decent. However, everything took a turn for the worse at the end of our meal. An older woman, who I assume is part of the front-of-house team, completely ruined the experience. She was extremely rude, unprofessional, and had no sense of customer service. She slammed the bill on the table and aggressively shoved the card machine in my face, bluntly saying, “Pay.” Shocked by her behavior, I asked my family why she was being so rude. Instead of handling the situation with any professionalism, she sarcastically responded, “So, you’re not going to pay?” I requested to be served by the kind waitress we had earlier, only to be told she was on her break. At that point, I insisted that someone else assist us because I refused to deal with someone so disrespectful. The same polite gentleman from the entrance eventually came over and tried to smooth things over, but the damage was already done. Spending over £101 on a meal, I at least expected decent service, but even the food wasn’t up to high standards. I have never been treated with such a lack of respect in any restaurant. The management needs to seriously reconsider their staff choices—especially removing the older woman from service. I will never set foot in this place again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere that values customers. 👎🏾 0/10.

My recent visit to Erbil Restaurant left much to be desired. From start to finish, the experience was marred by numerous errors and poor customer service. Firstly, there were massive errors in our orders. Some dishes were brought to our table while others were left waiting, resulting in a disjointed dining experience. Additionally, several items were missing altogether, and we had to repeatedly ask the staff to fulfill our orders. Their lack of attention to detail was glaring, and it significantly detracted from our enjoyment of the meal.Furthermore, the workers were uncooperative and displayed a lack of professionalism. When it came time to settle the bill, we were informed that only cash payments were accepted, despite the presence of a card reader. Only after resisting and insisting on paying by card did they reluctantly accommodate our request. This unnecessary inconvenience added unnecessary frustration to an already disappointing experience. To add insult to injury, one of the staff members was outright rude. Instead of addressing our concerns or rectifying the situation, they rudely suggested that we leave the restaurant to withdraw cash—a suggestion that was both inappropriate and offensive.Even more frustrating was the inconsistency in the dishes served. Despite being assured that a particular meal included chips, it arrived at our table without them. This inconsistency in service and communication only served to further undermine our confidence in the restaurant

Overall, this was my third and final visit to Erbil Restaurant. The numerous errors, lack of cooperation from staff, and poor customer service have left me with no desire to return. It's unfortunate that such a promising establishment fails to deliver on its potential, but until significant improvements are made, I cannot in good conscience recommend...
