Where do I start.
Walls and floors are paper thin. Guests are supposed to be quiet between 10pm and 9am, yet I haven't slept properly in the 4 nights we have been here because no-one abides by that rule, despite the Ts&Cs clearly stating you can be evicted for breaching this rule. For example, the guest in the flat above ran up and down the stairs and jumped up and down on the floor at 1am then again at 4am. The night before the same flat paced up and down the flat with heavy footsteps for 3 hours not stopping until after midnight. Despite reporting it nothing has been done.
If you want to sleep and/or relax then do yourself a favour, spend a bit more money and stay somewhere more relaxing.
Beds are rock hard. We had to go out and spend £125 on a memory foam mattress just to get a good night's rest, only to have it spoilt by the elephant in the flat above.
Bathroom is tiny. If you are over a BMI of 21 you are going to struggle.
The cutlery and plates are extremely limited.
The rooms are not double glazed so all of the noise from the A40 can be heard.
Flat 8 is supposed to be a double room, but there is only one chair at the so called dinning table and the bed is considered a "large single" (again, if you have a higher BMI ypu are going to struggle).
Poor ventilation. Condensation builds on the windows and won't clear - despite having the window open when in the flat.
Sheets were not particularly clean when we arrived, although the towels were clearly well laundered. The two decorative cushions are absolutely filthy!
Doors slamming at all hours. And it doesn't help that the entrance door will not close properrly without being slammed.
We have now bought earplugs because we are both working in London and...
Read moreI had a 14 square meter little studio 1 floor down. Self check-in and out worked perfect. Just saw a small glimpse of a cleaning person entering a flat during my 4 night stay. I had no cleaning during the stay and that was perfect for me. The little studio was exactly like in the pictures and worked well for me. The bed was OK but no quality, a little hard. Just wished I've had a toaster. |Room window faced an indoor car park. The second evening two young men was talking 1,5 meter outside my window and using the place as a playground. Later they moved away to another part and started to play football. They stayed for several hours. I complained by e-mail but got the answer that the car park belongs to another property so nothing they could do. Third night they were there for many hours. Around midnight I saw a man in a yellow vest talking to the boys. At 00:20 another man came and had them *go out from there. Nice, then I could finally have a quiet night. The cars didn't disturbe me at all. There was a fence outside the window so I felt safe.|Another thing I hadn't expected was that this property is a small building and just to the right they are building a new, high house. Construction work all over the area. Had no idea about that. Had expected this to be on the quieter side. I guess they will tear this little property down and build something really high in the future. Sad, because I believe that most of the other studios here are really good places to stay!!|Well, my stay was OK but not as undisturbed and calm as I had expected. Will not return. Sorry! I always want to write...
Read moreI stayed in Apartment 13 (one bedroom) for a few nights in August 2019. What a great apartment! It was clean, modern bathroom, basic kitchen facilities - everything you needed for a short stay! There was even a laundry available to use on the ground floor. ||||The check in and out process was so easy. You get a message the day before with a door code and then your keys are waiting for you in a letter box inside the building, you just drop your keys back here when you leave. There are several deadlocks to the apartment door making the apartment very secure.||||Yes there is no lift and depending on which floor your apartment is on you may have to walk up a few flights of stairs - but it is the same for all apartments in this area. If you are wanting a lift you either need to choose another location or increase your budget and stay in one of the hotels in the area. I had no issues carrying my suitcase up the stairs. ||||The location was fantastic for exploring London. It was walking distance to Regents Park, Paddington and Marble Arch. Edgeware Rd station was a five minute walk. ||Paddington Station a ten minute walk which was perfect for jumping on the Heathrow Express to get to the airport. Plenty of restaurants, bars and supermarkets within walking distance. ||||I was more than happy with my stay here. I think the apartments are reasonably priced for the standard and location. I would not hesitate in recommending these apartments and would definitely stay here again on my next...
