I ordered 2 wings for 99p and I wanted to Scan my club barcode. So I told the cashier BEFORE I paid but he forgot it so I asked him if he could just make a new fake order so I could just scan the barcode but nooo another employee decided to get involved and started saying that the cash machine is 'locked' and that I should pay again to Scan the barcode. I was obviously not going to do that just because a member of staff has the memory of a goldfish and she knew it so she called the manager who then came over grabbed the receipt from the machine and shoved it in my hand and said that I should do it online then walked away. The first rule in shopkeeping is that the customer is always right. This rule is there so that the customer does not complain or write a bad review like I am doing now. Hah. Now i got the last laugh.I was not happy about this but I decided to leave it. The wings were also a major disappointment. I spent £1 on 2 wings rather that £1 on 4 wings from the chippy down the road because it's kfc and I expect nothing but the best but that Is clearly not what I have recieve. The wings were very dry and there was too much breadcrumbs (Or whatever you fry the wings with). I literally took a bite of it and it broke apart in my mouth . I'm not even joking it crumbled like the Sahara desert was in my mouth. I will never be able to feel the same way about kfc wings again. I was traumatised by it. When it was delivered, I had only one meal in the bag, £20 of my order was missing, when I called the store they said my order was still there, to call Just Eat and get them to get a driver to redeliver it, during my call to the store, the manager hung up on me twice. I called Just Eat who couldn't get a driver to the store as it had been put on the system that the order was delivered. I decided to drive there myself, manager gave me a bag from the side with all the food there, said that when I got off the phone to him he redone the order.... That was nearly half hour before, so the bag he gave me had been sitting on the side by the till for nearly 30 mins, I put my hand in and the chips were cold. He then tried to blame the driver, said that they hadn't finished packing my order and the driver took the bag and left, I called him out, said that if that was the case, how comes the bag was folded and stuck closed with a sticker that the driver couldn't possibly get a hold of, he just laughed, he knew that they had made the mistake. Horrible place and they always miss an item... I understand that mistakes are made but at least be a man and own up to it and not try to point the finger at everyone but yourself. Extreamly poor...
Read moreThis is the poorest KFC I have ever visited and I have had the misfortune to visit it a few times (out of desperation & hoping it has improved) in the last few years I have lived locally. If you are looking for fast food, this won't fulfill your needs - the food service is anything but fast! The waiting times at the till are ridiculous due to poorly trained staff who are badly managed and for the most part incompetent. Burgers are haphazardly slapped together, resulting in customers receiving unappealing, sloppy food and if you don't request the staff to wait until all items are ready before bagging up then you will always end up with stone cold fries. The serving staff have no customer service skills and are often dismissive or rude. How this franchise is allowed to function in this way is beyond me - you would expect an international company, vying for customers in a market now saturated with other options, would do better. This is the only fast food chain in Stoke Newington and could monopolise it's clientele, but instead it is losing customers due to it's poor quality. Management higher up are clearly missing a trick here and this place has been left to rot for the last few years....
