The first time I visited Kimi was during the pandemic, as I was living near the North Greenwich area back then.
When entering the store, I was very happy (and a little bit sentimental) seeing the 福星、祿星、壽星 – the traditional Chinese 3 stars of Wealth, Status and Longevity – standing up the wall (P3). They reminded me of our traditional festivals, which, at that particular uncertain moment (of the pandemic), making me feel home and comfort. 😊
The exquisite design fills in the store. For example, the menu is written in vintage fonts, and framed in Baroque style (P2).
The Bubble tea cup comes with a flexible hole for the straw, and can be closed if you would not drink it up all at once. Besides the delicious tea, the chewy bubble, there are also additional designs such as the 'Angel Wings' on the cup (P1). It is a nice cup with well-made drink, with a comparatively fair price.
The pastry in Kimi is made daily with beautiful shapes, like the ones in P4. I hope to try them in future. 🙌
