Mooboo Greenwich Bubble Tea — Restaurant in London

Finally a Local Bubble tea joint! Pricey as usual for bubble tea at around £4.50 for a large. (2for1 was being offered for their grand opening weekend) Quality of the drinks were good, slightly better than average for what we tried so far. Staff seemed a bit down in the dumps, would be nice to see a smile here and there especially for the grand opening but could just be that they were very busy. Sadly most people really struggled to hear the cashiers voice over the noise of traffic and blenders (and face masks) may be a good idea to have a written template they can point at if it’s too loud to hear as I felt bad having to keep asking what she was saying. When we went, there were no tapioca pearls - not sure if this is a regular occurence - . Instead, we were recommended the jelly ball, which we were told was the most similar to the tapioca pearls. We ordered the caramel milk tea which was nice, but it didn't taste like caramel. However, the staff were nice. It was hard to hear the cashier over the loud noises in the background. Another staff member came to reiterate what the original staff worker had said. So overall, it was unfortunately not the best bubble tea...

Normally I wouldn’t write a review, especially not about Mooboo as it’s my favourite bubble tea place, but this particular franchise in Greenwich was a big let down. The lady serving was extremely rude and hostile. I dropped my drink and came back to purchase another one and heard her colleague suggest that she should give me a discount but she simply ignored him and took my payment hastily. There was 0 customer service on her part. She was rude from beginning to end and made the entire experience...
