Kish Lounge & Desserts — Restaurant in London

I was taking out a family member who was visiting London after a very long time. After driving through central London and sight seeing we stopped at Kish for desert around midnight on a Saturday night. We checked Google which said it was open and the reviews were good.

We were greeted by a warm and welcoming gentleman waiter who told us we could sit anywhere which was nice of him. There were 5 of us in total.

Once seated, the same waiter told us to check scan the qr code on the table to access the menu which was smart.

We did that and wanted deserts only. We ordered a waffle, a crepe and a cake via another waiter who was not sure about what we wanted. He returned back after a minute and told us the machine is switched off and to come to the bar so we can see the deserts to order.

We found it slightly inconvenient to get up again and walk to the bar but did so.

We were then approached by a hasty lady waiter who asked if we were ready. We said we were still deciding.

We then chose, sat back down and the deserts arrived which were really nice.

We just felt that as we arrived quite late, the attitude of some of the staff could have...

One of my worst experience in this restaurant. This is my 4th time going there but will never again since the servers are racist and absolute rude. I am taking about this older Arab man who served us twice. He is rude and all is attention was towards Arabs that pays him better tip.. Loud voice and responses rudely. we would come with my family of 5 every month but this guy has put such a bad taste in my mouth that I will never again. The older fatish Arab gentleman was extremely rude and unprofessional, which left a sour taste in our mouths. As a manager of a major nearby hotel, I used to recommend Kish to all of our guests, but after this incident, I can no longer do so or will I allow any other staff to do so. . Such incredible service - I ordered the breakfast with caviar to my mothers address as part of mothers Sunday. Not only did all items arrive hot (except the cardboard which was packaged in a tin on ice) but the driver arrived at precisely the time requested. All ingredients were of good quality and were certainly cooked exceptionally well and then securely packaged for travel. I would recommend Kish Lounge whole heartedly based on their service alone but I'm told, by my ever discerning mother, that the food is quite excellent too...
