šKilburn High Road šŗĀ Ā£4.35 Carlsberg ā¤ļø A lively locals high street boozer. . The Old Bell is situated at the southern end of ever busy Kilburn High Road. The nearest station is Kilburn High Road which is literally next door, Kilburn Park Tube is a few minutes walk from here. . There has been a pub on this site since around 1600, the current building dates from 1839. During the 18th century Kilburn Wells, as the area was known then, had medicinal springs, including one in the grounds of the Old Bell pub. . This big old boozer is divided up in to three areas. At the front is the main bar which is is L shaped, has a parkay floor, plenty of seating including booths and is where the large servery is located. Just off the back of the main bar is a carpeted dining area which has a distinct Stonegate pub feel. At the rear of the pub is a massive beer garden that was renovated a couple of years ago. . The beer selection was full of familiar favourites plus three cask ales. I took it easy and decided on a Carlsberg, my pint was decent enough and cost less than a fiver. There is an American inspired comfort food menu which had some British pub grub choices too, Fish & Chips costs Ā£9.49. . I arrived around 2pm and the place was buzzing. There were a group of Man U fans filtering out the door on their way to Wembley. The pub was packed with locals with the majority lapping up the summer sun in the beer garden. This place is great place to watch live sport, there are a multitude of screens dotted around the pub. The service here was excellent, the staff here were enthusiastic, engaging and personable. . Over the last twenty years, the big local community boozers have seen the biggest decline. This is mainly due property value, supermarket beer prices and they were also very difficult pubs to run. Here at the @old.bellkilburn it is thriving, it was great to spend time here. If you fancy a bit of retro pubbing, then this is the place for you. . ā¹ļø Info correct on...

Fil is always very sarcastic, making stupid remarks which are uncalled for , I'd say about 5/6 in total which is just plain stupid.
Jon only wanted to sort out one issue when we met although there was plenty more to be spoken about.
Thin blonde girl behind the bar seems to not like us from her attitude when we ordered cocktails, I ordered one cocktail and asked if it was 2 for 1 which she replied yes, then surprise surprise she comes over with one cocktail rather than 2 and says you should order 2 but surely then I'd end up with 4?
this has happened twice with her!
recently sent a friend in there who told me the beer was very flat and the English breakfast gave him diarrhoea.
I recommend trying the Kilburn Bridge across the road or The North London Tavern with staff that know how to treat customers.
Further review/reply to John's statement below.. .
Hi John
Thank you to your reply to my review.
I have to say though that it wasn't all resolved when we spoke after NYE at all
You only spoken about my issues on NYE and nothing else, which is why I had to come back again and speak with Fil to mention these points where he looked very embarrassed as knew it was him being sarcastic and offending my friends/family!
After that the blonde girl had been rude to us for the 2nd time and yet again Fil sarcastic about what table we were sitting on.
Is there a really any need for that?
I then left a review on Facebook and was sent abuse from Declan Ward/Mcdonagh who must have a relationship with one you to get involved as much as he did.
I have to say again that none of this would of ever happened and I would be still a great customer if it wasn't for your staff being sarcastic, rude and offensive.
I do apologise for calling them names in previous messages but again wouldn't of had to happen and just to mention no other pub has ever treated us...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent twice, both on Sundays for the roast as itās advertised as having bottomless Yorkshire puddings, gravy and roast potatoes. First time went around 3pm and every roast was out of stock, thatās not great but I guess it was busy. Went another Sunday, couple weeks after the first visit, at 12pm to make sure they hadnāt sold out. Surely they couldnāt be out of roasts at 12pm but they were. I donāt know if they purposely block the option on the app so it doesnāt get too busy or they just donāt make enough food. Considering they open at 10am and I highly doubt anyone is going in for a roast as their breakfast, they should have enough to last until 12pm. If you have the Sunday menu advertised everywhere in the pub and itās on your app then you should at least try and prep enough food to accommodate people who come at 12pm. If you have to preorder or tell staff in advance then please communicate that via signage at the pub or on your website. Itās a shame because Iāve been trying to find a good Sunday roast locally and I had high hopes but I will not...
