La Barca London — Restaurant in London

We have been to this wonderful restaurant a few times with friends and had a great time. On this occasion the food was wonderful but our night was spoilt by really poor service. A long wait to order, had to wait and ask for wine, had to ask for Parmesan cheese, had to ask for fresh glasses for next wine. I understand times have changed but this was not good. After the meal I reduced the gratuity and explained why. This was accepted and again apologised. Will we go back- probably but the service must reflect the quality of this wonderful establishment/ Restaurant. I guess we just wanted everything to be perfect like it used to be...

Stopped off for a meal for 3 on the way to a concert at Tottenham Stadium. Lovely little café/ restaurant (although I think it's bigger than it seems as we were told we could sit out back in a garden area of we preferred). It was very busy and the woman serving mentioned they were short staffed. This did not affect the food or service. They were really friendly, food was great and very good size portions. Waiting for my MOT today, I was looking for somewhere to get a coffee for an hour with decent wi-fi to do a little work. What a find! Lovely staff (manager?) carried my coffee over to my table (unasked) clocking I had bags to carry. Excellent wi-fi, good space. Been here 15 years and never spotted it before.
