La Môme London — Restaurant in London

If I could give zero stars, I would.

I booked a table for four at the last minute, 6 hours before. The reservation was at 9:45 PM and received a confirmation. That’s it, no cancellation, no follow-up, nothing. So you can imagine my shock when I show up, after dragging my exhausted guests who just got off a 9-hour flight, and the hostess (also apparently the host manager) looks me dead in the eye and tells me my reservation was cancelled.

No apology. No explanation. Just attitude.

She tells me, “We sent you an email.” I checked every mailbox, spam, junk, promotions. Nothing. I told her that in a frustrated tone. And with the most dismissive, couldn’t-care-less tone she goes, “Well, if you didn’t get it, I can’t help you. It’s not my problem.” Not. My. Problem. That’s how they speak to guests. She then adds, “There’s no space for you tonight,” as if she was doing me a favor just by speaking to me.

Are you serious?

This is hands down the most unprofessional, careless, and rude treatment I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. They clearly don’t care about your time, your plans, or your experience. They’ll cancel your reservation without informing you, and then act like you’re the problem.

I didn’t even get to try the food, and frankly, I wouldn’t now even if it were free. A place that treats its guests like this doesn’t deserve your money, or your time.

Tonight I had the pleasure of dining at La Môme London with two friends, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth and care. The service was outstanding — the kind of service you rarely find in London — attentive, genuine, and delivered with a smile that made us feel instantly at home.

The food was on another level. Every dish was crafted with such finesse and flavour that it felt like a journey through the French Riviera. I had the lamb, vitello tonnato, and a fresh salad — each plate beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We also shared oysters, which were exquisite and set the perfect tone for the evening. Every bite had that balance of elegance and boldness that makes dining here so special.

To make the night even more magical, there was live music — the singer’s voice was incredible and added such a warm, vibrant atmosphere to the whole evening. It truly felt like a complete sensory experience.

What impressed me most was the combination of atmosphere, food, and service — it all came together to create not just a meal, but a memory. La Môme London isn’t just about eating; it’s about experiencing hospitality at its finest.
