Cigar Terrace at The Wellesley — Local services in London

Called twice on the way to the cigar lounge on 7th of December 2023, asked if a booking required and was told walk ins are fine. Turned up and saw empty tables and the manager upon greeting was super rude and told us no availability, when we said we called twice less then 30 minutes before he said he was not sure who we spoke to.

The service was extremely poor the manager had a sense of arrogance about him and you can tell this by the way he carries himself and how he treats customers. If this is anything representative of Wellesley establishment based on the managers attitude to customers. I would stay away - Far better cigar lounge options include No. 6 Cavendish & Cigars at No. 10 on Baker Street.

As a solo traveler, my experience at this cigar bar was particularly disheartening. I had the unfortunate experience of visiting this establishment for the second time, and it was a stark contrast to my previous visit. The staff displayed a complete lack of effort when it came to service. No menu was offered, and I was left waiting for a bewildering 30 minutes with no acknowledgment or assistance. I felt incredibly unwelcome, and the overall atmosphere was less than inviting, which is especially discouraging for someone traveling alone.

On vacation and on the hunt for an amazing cigar experience, I (fortunately) found the Cigar Terrace. My server, David (from Hungary) was also my cigar maitre d who assisted me in locating a wonderful Cohiba. With a cut & light, I relaxed on their outdoor patio in an luxurious leather chair while I enjoyed several, cold London Pride beers. Meanwhile my Wife & Daughter sat indoors at the bar and had their own, amazing dining experience.
