The visit was not as it should be, it should have been a fantastic experience for our dog and for us. I had pre-booked a table and when we turned up there were only 2/3 customers in the cafe. We ordered for our pooch and coffees for us. Once the food arrived for our pooch my wife went to cut the meatballs in pieces so makes it easier for our pooch to eat it. The meatballs were hard and one meatball was so pink might as well be raw. We advised the staff and one staff member put her hand and fingers in the bowl and all over the food. Then they went onto say it's fine and the pooch can eat it. I was flabbergasted as they touched the food and expected our pooch to eat it. I expressed my discontent and asked them to replace the food. The second bowl was fine. We had to ask for cutlery/tissues as they didn't bring it with our brownie. All in all the cafe had 2/3 customers so wasn't busy and the whole dog/Human experience was terrible. The service was half hearted, the ambience was non existent and if I'm honest I wanted to leave and go somewhere else.
The whole experience was only saved by Henry as he seemed the only one to understand the customer and pooch experience.
I would say if you are thinking of bringing your pooch to enjoy the experience, don't bother finding...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOverpriced to be honest- I mean the cafe as I havenāt used the grooming facility. They didnāt have a couple of the options on the dog and human menu so I settled for the French toast, which turned out to be a poor choice. dry and disappointingly bland, with none of the comfort or indulgence youād expect from a brunch staple. It appeared to have been made in a hurry with no care at all. An extra 2 slices is bacon would have cost an additional Ā£3.50. If the quality was good, Iād not have minded paying. But with that price youād expect better quality. The turkey balls my pup had was also quite dry and hard for me to chop up, so I let him them whole š It was an underwhelming experience, and not what itās made out to be on SM. I wouldnāt...

I've been taking my dog there since she was a puppy, and the ladies who care for the dogs there are absolutely stellar. Total professionals, they really are qualified and understand dogs and how to manage them, socialize them and make sure they have a fabulous time. They also make sure the dogs have "downtime" and opportunities to rest in between play. Which means your dog comes home exhausted, but not "wired" if that makes sense! My dog loves being there so much, and it's worth every penny. Can recommend them...
