ššššš INSANE experience at Luno Omakase ā still not over it!!
Okay wow⦠where do I even start?? Luno Omakase completely blew my mind. Hands down one of the best dining experiences Iāve ever had literally anywhere. This place is next-level.
Itās this hidden little gem tucked behind Los Mochis in the City ā only 12 seats, so it feels super exclusive but still warm and welcoming. Youāre basically front row to a sushi masterclass. The vibe is moody and elegant, and the views from the 9th floor? Absolutely stunning ā you can literally see St Paulās Cathedral glowing in the skyline while you eat. Unreal.
Now the food⦠honestly, ridiculous in the best way. Itās a 12-course journey through traditional Edomae-style sushi with a bold, modern twist. The toro nigiri was buttery and perfect. The truffle chawanmushi? Next-level luxurious. And the Hokkaido scallop with yuzu kosho was a full-on flavour explosion. Every single dish was a work of art.
What really made it unforgettable was how personal the whole thing felt. Chef Leonard Tanyag walked us through every course with so much passion and insight ā like being let into his creative brain. You could tell every detail had meaning, and it made the whole experience even more special.
Honestly, this is the perfect spot if you want to absolutely blow someone away ā whether itās the most unforgettable surprise for your love interest, a once-in-a-lifetime treat for someone special, or a next-level corporate dinner (12 seats makes it ideal). Itās thoughtful, refined, and so memorable.
Luno Omakase is a total gem. If youāre into sushi, storytelling, and truly unforgettable food...

From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect the atmosphere was warm, elegant, and immersive, setting the stage for an incredible evening. It was nothing short of spectacular. Every bite felt like a masterpiece impeccably fresh ingredients, artfully prepared, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the chefās passion and precision in each course. Every dish told its own story, and the pacing made the whole experience feel effortless and engaging. The staff were genuinely lovely attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. They made the birthday celebration extra special with thoughtful touches that meant so much. The space itself was spotless, exuding a sense of calm and comfort that made the entire evening even more enjoyable. Itās rare to find a place in London that combines exceptional food, a welcoming atmosphere, and such a high level of hygiene and professionalism. This omakase experience was pure magic the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion or simply experience...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHad a really lovely experiences at Luna. When we arrived, we were seated at the bar. However, they did not have enough bar stools as it was quite busy. Food was excellent, Japanese food with a South American twist. 14 dishes were served, we ordered additional pairings (1 sake, 1 non alcoholic). I had a little accident with the drink, and they immediately cleaned it up and served me another one. Service was fantastic, the chefs (4 of them!), the hosts and the sommelier all did wonderful jobs and made us feel very welcome. For us, the outstanding dish was the layered tuna tartare with wasabi and caviar with house made rice crackers. One thing I was a bit unsure of was the vegetarian dish, (avocado, cucumber ātacoā - although flavour and texture was good, I wouldnāt expect a vegetarian dish in an omakase). The dessert was really creative, something weāve never had or even heard of before, wasabi ice cream!!
Overall, had a really lovely time, well fed...
