Mamma Mia Ristorante Italiano — Restaurant in London

I've visited this restaurant on my birthday with 2 of my friends on 05/05/2024 at 10:00pm I didn't received warm welcome by the team member on the floor when I requested for a table I choose the staff was rude saying it will take time, while ordering food when we asked some questions regarding the dishes the server was getting annoyed and was rushing us to order quickly saying the kitchen is closing at 10:30pm , it is mentioned on Google that the closes at 11:00pm , it is not mentioned anywhere here that kitchen closes at 10:30pm, anyway later when we received our main course we decided to make a request to order some side dish, we wanted to order garlic bread the server said the chef will get upset if he took the order instead he offered us to get one of the side dish on him which later he brought on our table ,but this was not freshly made he brought it from the customers left overs sitting next to us when they left, as we were having our meal server brought us the bill , as we were not happy with the service we requested to take off the service charge from our bill instead the server denied saying it cannot be taken off, with this environment and such rude behaviour of the server we was not even able to finish our meal, we were than trying to finish our drinks and leave soon but this time there was 2 other staff members from different restaurant came in and tried to rush us and other customers to leave soon in this situation we tried to get a photo of the bill one of the other restaurant staff tried to pick a fight(assault) because he thought we were taking his photo, this was such a bad experience for us that took on my birthday, I work in a pub near by as a kitchen team leader, my kitchen manager and another kitchen team leader was with me to dine in this restaurant after finishing our...

Visited with my girlfriend last weekend. So glad we chose to go in after the owner catching us outside looking at the menu and encouraging us in. He even said if we didn’t like the food, we wouldn’t have to pay, not that we’d have done that anyway but it gave some reassurance. Unfortunately they had no Calamari which I found disappointing but the 2 starters and mains that we had were absolutely spot on. We really enjoyed it and sat in the window relaxing (apart from the front door that doesn’t close slowly as it should and slams with a bang that’ll make you jump out of your skin) with a few drinks. Upon asking for the bill, the waiter/owner thought I asked for another beer, which he brought over. I informed him I said bill and not beer but I was happy to drink it and to add it and bring the bill. He refused, apologised and told me I wouldn’t pay for it (which wasn’t my expectation, I actually wanted to it for it just to reaffirm I originally asked for the bill and wasn’t trying to get a free drink haha). He then brought over the last of the bottle Of wine my girlfriend had been drinking by the bottle and topped her glass/finished the bottle off and said it was complimentary. We ordered a dinner from here for an Uber Eats delivery on our last night of a London vacation, very tired and not willing to walk anywhere to dine in. I had the Scaloppine Al Marsala (16.99) and my husband had the Spaghetti Bolognese (12.50), as well as a side of garlic bread (4.99) and a mixed green salad (4.99). The meal was not very good and the Scaloppine in particular was very skimpy. They poured an unknown kind of white dressing directly into the salad container and the bread was downright pathetic. Two very small pieces which really should have been included in the price of the meal. Here in America it is and you get a choice of salad dressings which come in a container so you can control the amount. Oh, my bad, these are plastic! Now I get it. But surely the UK can come up with another kind of container (heavy paper perhaps?) But I guess for some establishments there it is acceptable to just pour the dressing right onto the salad? By the way, the menu on the website was very lacking in details but as I said previously we were tired and didn't want to keep looking for something nearby that was better.
